Reddit's like driving past an accident scene. On steroids.Reddit is a place for the stupid people in this world in every topic there is plain and simple.
Styles would put the rest of our ILBs on the bench. Including Landman. He'd only sniff the field on early downs.Styles would be our ilb next to landman and covering rb and te and making plays sideline to sideline.
How’d he do last year:
Mel Kiper Jr.'s Top 25 Big Board
1. Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
2. Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
3. Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
4. Arvell Reese, LB, Ohio State
5. Ty Simpson, QB, Alabama
6. Peter Woods, DT, Clemson
7. Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
8. Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
9. Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
10. Makai Lemon, WR, USC
11. Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
12. Rueben Bain Jr., DE, Miami
13. David Bailey, OLB, Texas Tech
14. Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
15. Jermod McCoy, CB, Tennessee
16. Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
17. Kelley Jones, CB, Mississippi State
18. Chris Bell, WR, Louisville
19. Akheem Mesidor, DE, Miami
20. Denzel Boston, WR, Washington
21. LaNorris Sellers, QB, South Carolina
22. Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
23. Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia
24. Keldric Faulk, DE, Auburn
25. A'Mauri Washington, DT, Oregon
SF andHa! Double dipped on the Browns.
Yeah I love Tyson's film but that injury history worries the hell out of me. He's there with McCoy for me. I prefer not to risk the knee injury with these quick twitch types.Charles Davis mock would have me in full panic mode:
6. Lemon
7. Delane
8. Tate
10. Styles
11. Downs
12. McCoy
That leaves only Tyson of the top guys I'd have targeted. I do like Tyson as a player, not sure he is ideal with us since he cannot seem to stay on the field. Think I'd take the best trade back offer at this point and try to grab a EMW, Hood, Boston, Terrell later.
Sadly, I think the trend is going to keep heading that direction with both Delane, Lemon and McCoy gone by 13.
Dude gives me so many bad vibes as a high pick it's not even funny.Interesting. Gastritis for several months? I suppose if I were the Rams, I would need to know just what caused the gastritis. If it was stress, that might be a pretty big red flag. But if it was a bug or something else and he lost 25 pounds over a few months, that could explain his tailing off as the season wore on. I guess we're going to see what the Rams think of him in a couple months.
Mel's biggest weakness is his tendency to get "weird QB boners."How’d he do last year:
- Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
- Abdul Carter, OLB, Penn State
- Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
- Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
- Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
- Cam Ward, QB, Miami
- Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
- Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
- Will Campbell, OT, LSU
- Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
I'd prefer to gamble on McCoy then Tyson. I think McCoy had only 1 injury (that I'm aware of) and rehabbed it all year. His ceiling is a stud CB, which we badly need.Yeah I love Tyson's film but that injury history worries the hell out of me. He's there with McCoy for me. Concepcion biggest flaw that concerns me are his drops. Not the best hands at all.Dammit. My hope for him at 29 is fizzling out. Concepcion would be potentially even more nice.
I will add that ACL's, especially a clean ACL tear without any other damage to other tendons or the knee cartilage, seem to not be a big issue to younger athletes. They seem to bounce back quickly vs a guy in his late 20's or 30's.I'd prefer to gamble on McCoy then Tyson. I think McCoy had only 1 injury (that I'm aware of) and rehabbed it all year. But yes, really like Tyson's film also.
True. I believe Tyson also had an ACL tear his first year at ASU. So, on top of all the injuries he had before and after, he has the same injury McCoy had. That's a big reason I'd gamble on McCoy well before Tyson.I will add that ACL's, especially a clean ACL tear without any other damage to other tendons or the knee cartilage, seem to not be a big issue to younger athletes. I like both players. Both are high floor projections in the NFL if they can stay healthy. But generally speaking the elite athletes who have knee issues worry me, and this particular offseason I'd rather go another direction than either of them to remove that risk.I'd prefer to gamble on McCoy then Tyson. I have a suspicion that McCoy drops a bit. Probably not outside of the first round, but I think he ends up being our surprise fall. Corner is just so deep this year and I suspect many GMs will follow your line of thinking.I like both players. Both are high floor projections in the NFL if they can stay healthy. If I was his agent I'd be telling him to run and participate in everything. If he can sell teams on the idea he's back to that dude he was, that's his best bet.I have a suspicion that McCoy drops a bit. Yeah I agree. I do think that Delane, who is damn good, might just be too safe to pass on fire him. I wonder how many corners fit in that bucket. If I was his agent I'd be telling him to run and participate in everything. But yeah both him and Tyson the combine will be all about the medical.
