Couple of my favorites on the score there in Cuevas and Fields! Hell of a block by Cuevas on the TD.

These OL are feasting so far too.

Given his measurables, upside, Senior Bowl performance, team needs, and positional value I would think so.
Add to all that there was really only 1 LT talked about above him in Freeling the rest were RT or guys likely to move inside. He was a 2nd rounder before this week so it's not unheard of but I can see a OT needy team in the back half of the 1st grab him. I know he played RT this past year but doesn't he have some LT experience?

I thought I read yesterday (or heard) someone saying he’s able to play 4 of 5 OL spots (all except center). Unless that was the Iowa OL with the Tennessee top hat hairstyle.

A good breakdown of Simpson by Chase Daniel. I would not be opposed to them taking him in the top 20. Good fit for the offense, and can learn for a year or so, and hopefully put on 10-12 lbs of muscle.

Welcome to the bandwagon.

He actually looks like an NFL QB. And I can only imagine how much better he would look under McVay with an actual rushing attack.

One thing I think we really need to do this offseason is add a NT to back up Ford. Ford fell off a bit down the stretch and we had nobody who could add what he did to this front when he wasn't himself. So I think it would be wise to add a legit NT physical beast to this DL. Just keep feeding it to ensure it's a top unit.

The best fits would be Kayden McDonald or Lee Hunter. Corner's the greater need, so I don't think either of those dudes are likely to be our pick. But if the board falls a certain way NT would be a nice fallback that still beefs up this defense.

If we don't go with Simpson in the first I would really like 2 of CB NT ILB in the 1st.

It will be interesting to see if he rises through the draft process, and if a team like the Jets jump above 13 to grab him. Or do the Jets sit tight and focus on 27' to get their QB with having multiple first's next year.

There still could be a good DT there at 29. So depending what happens at 13, that could be a realistic pick. Of course FA will determine what they focus on.

In fact, if they are really aggressive in FA with the credit card, that would open the door for Simpson at 13. They could justify that kicking the can down the road capwise could work since Stafford could be off the books by years end or by the end of 27'.

So an aggressive attempt to shore up holes on defense and maybe grabbing a vet #3 WR, would allow them to burn a high pick on a developmental QB.
