Probably won't happen but if it isn't Tyson with a cleared medical history, I'm beginning to lean towards wanting the team wait for day two to take a WR.

Agreed. There are some solid WR targets for Day 2. But we probably would need/want to move up to get the right guy. Waiting for 61 may be a bit late.

But honestly, I think WR is likely the 1st or 2nd position of need/want by McVay. Again, I can’t disagree with that mindset when you are trying to win a SB before stafford is gone.

Honestly if any of the top 3 are there at 13 jump on it! There are a handful of CB we can get at 29 that are CB1 from day 1. IMO

agreed 100% -- but I think the top 3 WRs & Love are gone by 13, just outta reach. Sadly, there's just not enough QB's for teams to reach on to push these guys down in the draft, like when Verse fell to us (pre-combine, that is...). And ya from what I hear, lots of good CB's that we can wait on but I'd love to get one at 29.
oh & it's crazy to think, we were all excited we'd get 9's successor with our (2) first round picks, smh.

I was looking at it because somebody mentioned we should trade down a bit from 13 if we want to take a CB (because of feelings about value which I don't worry about personally) and the needs of teams are pretty interesting. A lot of the teams above us show needs at WR, OT, CB, Edge and ILB. Which pretty much aside from Mendoza, Downs, Love and Woods is your top 20 players. I think aside from a few spots this top 20 is going to be very hard to project because there are so many players that are all pretty even.

Also I don't think we should trade down if we want a CB because the 6 or 7 teams after us all list CB as a top 1 or 2 need. That's if we want a CB at 13.
