Remember he's going to start off down the depth chart so he's not going to get that many snaps anyway.
Less chance of getting injured and a couple 3 years to heal up.
But it looks like he has talent going after the ball.
And the size to be a downfield blocker.
Wasn't he one of Steve Smith's favorites too? I seem to remember that video though I wasn't a huge fan of the kid.

Yeah, Burks was definitely one of Steve Smith's favorites. He's a small slot receiver, but he's dynamic and electric with the ball in his hands, and he's not just some Tavon Austin; he's a great route runner as well.

I'm shocked that he's fallen so far.

AND HOLY FUCK. Some quarterback out of Rutgers selected by Washington before Nussmeier. He really is going to be possibly undrafted, isn't he?

Day Three Imaginary Draft Board

Michael Heldman, EDGE, Central Michigan 6’4” 260

Devon Marshall, CB, NC State 5103, 197

Louis Moore, S, Indiana, 5105, 191
Jared Washington, South Carolina State, CB, 6000 186

Apparently, I went too deep and my day three imaginary draft board is littered with UDFAs.:laugh4:

Guess I'll add Tennessee DT Bryson Eason to the list.

I was actually referring to Daniel's and his injury history and size.
I thought that's who the poster was referring to as well.

Good choice. Really love Eason. Former linebacker who moved to NT, super athletic, but didn't post the best stats at Tennessee.

I think he's well worth #232.

Another tight end, this time to the Titans. Trigg might end up being undrafted as well.

Wonder if the cyst on his spine is a bigger issue than was let on.

Probably is, but if he gets surgery for it (if he can; I don't know how a surgery like that would go) and it works out, that's a quarterback who was once considered a first-round pick.

EDIT: I wonder if the Bengals select him with all of the Joe Burrow rumors.

EDIT: Never mind, took a defensive tackle.

Some interesting players left.

Still have Rivers and Burks for receivers. Still have Heidenreich for returns/running back/wide receiver. Still have Eason and Corleone as far as nose tackles. Still have Murdock if you want a linebacker.

Lots of interesting players left, and there will be plenty of interesting UDFAs as well.

Please, Steelers, pick Nussmeier, just to fuck with Rodgers more!

EDIT: Oh, FUCK you, you absolute bastards!

Nussmeier still out there and Klubnik destined for failure on the Jets.
Yeah, that's shocking for me. I'd definitely take Nussmeier over Stetson at this point (if it ever got to the point where he was a UDFA. Far more talented, could actually be a talented backup who can spot start.

Endries' fall is shocking me as well.
Apparently teams don't want to touch that cyst on his spine that caused his injury issues last year.
Cade Klubnik seemed to have late helium and I've been curious if it's because of his workouts with Kurt Warner's son, E.J., and Kurt himself selling Klubnik of late based on his son's reporting. Kurt went on the Rich Eisen Show right before the draft to praise those workouts and his intelligence while also pimping his son.

I'm still a believer in Garret Nussmeier and his talent. The cyst near his spine obviously factored into his disappointing play last season as well as NFL teams' concerns in spending a draft pick on him. I feel very bad for him as it doesn't seem fair. Hopefully, he can latch onto a team willing to be patient and invest in him.
Nuss the arm strength worries me. He's like Pavia to my eye in that regard. But at least with Pavia you get an insane competitor.
Yeah at this point the only difference between him and Stetson is the rookie contract starts over but that's just IMO.

I have little doubt about Nussmeier's arm strength, especially when he's fully healthy. If it weren't for the cyst, he probably would have been the better prospect over Simpson IMO. I have no doubt that Nussmeier's performance and draft stock were severely affected by his medical condition. I'm pulling for him to make a full recovery health-wise as well as proving himself for the NFL game.

I don't think he's a superior prospect to Simpson, but he would've definitely been first-round worthy, were it not for injuries sapping his arm strength. He doesn't have a rocket arm, but it's definitely around Purdy's, and he has mobility.

Really sucks for Nussmeier, and I'm rooting for him to succeed (unless, of course, he joins the Whiners or Hags).
