That would do it along with his size.

The fall of Endries and Trigg are also surprising.

EDIT: Eagles picked Micah Morris with our former sixth round pick. I don't mind, actually; strikes me as a guy who has real issues with technique and would be best served losing weight.
I'm not surprised by Trigg. After @Memphis Ram mentioned character concerns, I did a little research, and there seem to be substantial character concerns. Gifted athlete, but reportedly a bad person and teammate.

I'm not surprised too much by Trigg. He'll still earn an NFL spot; he's far too talented, a potential second-round pick if not for the character problems, but he's had physical issues with coaches apparently, so I can see why he's falling, even though I'm a little surprised that certain teams that normally value talent over character haven't picked him yet.

I'm absolutely surprised by Endries. There has to be injury concerns with him, because there's nothing I've seen in his profile that would make him not a third-round pick at least. Someone's gonna get a helluva tight end with Endries.

EDIT: Sorry for the massive run-on sentence about Trigg, haha.

Have to go defense at 232....Right? Can't have an all offense draft. Need a DB or LB that can play ST's
Are we going to return kicks with Whittington again?

True. I'm not sure what offense the Jaguars were running in Thomas's rookie year, but he didn't have the issues over the middle that he had in his second year. I'm not sure what happened, but for a 2027 second? I'm more willing to roll the dice on a Thomas in the middle of his rookie contract than Pickens who will be absolutely expensive and is far more of a mercurial diva than Thomas has ever been.
We're talking BTJ against the field not Pickens... there will be options out there. Bouttie being one of them. Slim chance at AJ still.

There will be cuts at WR in a few weeks too.

Again, I'm not saying it's the worst idea in the world. But I don't love it.

Fair enough. Boutte has had issues with his attitude at LSU, and he's pretty slight. Absolutely wouldn't hate him, especially not with a Day 3 pick, but not my favorite receiver target out there.

I highly doubt we get Brown. From what's out there, he's basically a Cheatriot already.

Barrion Brown or Heidenreich would be nice as well.

One thing in our favor, with a 5 man draft class, and if no one is taken on defense, shouldn't be hard to convince top UDFA's, especially on defense, to sign here.

Barion Brown's off the board. Went well before us in the sixth to the Saints.

There's still Heidenreich (thus far), Caullin Lacey, and Eric Rivers if we're looking at potential returnmen.

Agreed those are the 2 I'd be looking at now maybe a NT though I'm not sure what's out there.

Dontay "The Godfather" Corleone is still out there, if you're looking for nose tackles. Bryson Eason (Tennessee) is another interesting nose tackle.
