Damn liked Demoni Jackson. Former 5 star but never put it all together.

Not a fan. Really lacks speed to keep up with receivers, and he never really made many plays on the ball.

Worth a sixth, I suppose, but not exactly a corner I liked.

Understandable, wanted to use on of the 7th's on him, didn't think he should go before then but would be worth taking a chance to try to get him right.

Holy shit. C.J. Williams before Deion Burks and Eric Rivers?

I know we're overflowing with UDFA receivers, but I'd love to see Burks and/or Rivers in Horns if they don't get picked.

How so? I imagine he’d be used in a way that Cooks and Watkins were used. It may not be how a current receiver is used in this offense, but we don’t have anyone with his skill set in this offense. McVay would figure out how to use him
Watkins and Cooks (to a much lesser extent) ran routes over the middle, BTJ constantly loafs over the middle. He had an issue with drops when contact neared (again over the middle) but really anywhere on the field.

This team wants to constantly run their X and Z on digs. He doesn't run them well.

He can run the vertical stuff well, most of his work probably has to come outside the numbers. It cuts off a big part of our offense. Not saying we couldn't use him but I'm not big on paying a 2nd round pick for a guy who can't activate all aspects of the offense we play.

HAS to be something we don't know about Burks. Was projected 3rd round pick and tons of lesser WR's (IMO) are going before him. Even with just his raw athletic ability he should have gone.

BTJ did not have those issues his rookie year. I still think the injuries he sustained in 2025 were affecting his play. I'd like the opportunity to get him right, see if we could bring back his rookie magic.

The Youtube draft cast with that Trevor Sikema guy, formerly from PFF, is killing Gladstone for their picks. CJ Williams shouldn't have been drafted and they took a few others earlier that should have been 6th or 7ths in their minds.

Yeah, the tight end they drafted in the second round was mediocre as well. Maybe it wasn't Gladstone that made the major decisions for us because he's absolutely fucking up his first two drafts.

Read up on some medical red flags: previous neck injury and concussion history

That would do it along with his size.

The fall of Endries and Trigg are also surprising.

EDIT: Eagles picked Micah Morris with our former sixth round pick. I don't mind, actually; strikes me as a guy who has real issues with technique and would be best served losing weight.

You might be right but I'm curious if he wasn't asked to run across the middle as much in the previous offense.

The Jags offense is the Rams offense (give or take).

It's digs all day long.

I didn't realize Eric Rivers was still on the board. Would have pounded the table for him if I knew.

True. I'm not sure what offense the Jaguars were running in Thomas's rookie year, but he didn't have the issues over the middle that he had in his second year. I'm not sure what happened, but for a 2027 second? I'm more willing to roll the dice on a Thomas in the middle of his rookie contract than Pickens who will be absolutely expensive and is far more of a mercurial diva than Thomas has ever been.

He absolutely is, and I'd be pounding for him with you. Small and slight, but a helluva receiver.

Who knows? Maybe he's our seventh and we go with a full offensive draft.
