Not going to last to us but man some of these guys were labeled early 2nd round picks by some.

There's a little more than 100 picks before the Rams are on the clock (unless they move-up).

Most teams do not take the allotted five minutes to make a selection. However, if the average time lapse between picks being announced is just three minutes, that's 100 X 3 = 300 minutes.

5 Hours from the Day-3 Noon (EST) start-time until the Rams draft.

Just draft Kaden Wetjen in the 6th then in the 7th maybe an iol backup and guys for coverage teams.
I'll be shocked if he makes it to our next pick. Electric returner and solid potential slot receiver.
If we’re drafting for the future, we may as well take a flyer on Jermod McCoy if he’s still around when we pick.
As a first round talent, if he hasn't been taken by now the only way he hasn't is if teams think he has some kind of Danario Alexander degenerative injury with no chance at a long term career. I feel bad for him as an early entrant.

Guys I might try and get a pick to draft today:

-Burks is electric and also a kick returner.
-Surratt could easily be our 3 WR IMO
- I honestly thought Keionte Scott was a 2nd round pick, difference maker on Miami
- Kyle Louis that LB/S hybrid that could blanket TE's/RB's for us
- Brennen Thompson add some elite speed to our team
- Travis Burke another tackle prospect to back up our guys
- Malik Muhammad CB one of my guys who I think will be a good guy in our CB group

Shocked nobody has taken a chance on Lance or S.Bell

I'd certainly be calling to get a pick for these guys:
McCoy
Surratt
Burks
K.Scott
K.Louis

I was looking at the roster, and count 48 players that I would expect to make the final 53.

Now, it's ridiculously early to project a roster. There will be injuries, and some players will surprisingly but significantly disappoint, making them obvious to cut; and maybe even a trade or two. However, it illustrated (to me) that there were very few roster openings at this point in time.

I am NOT talking about positions that could still be up-graded. I am talking Openings ...

... 3rd WR to push Whittington and Mumpfield down to 4th and 5th WRs
... 4th or 5th CB (Forbes and Wallace are currently behind the starters)
... what else is there as far as Roster Openings?

The Rams can certainly Up-Grade at QB (a veteran), off-ball-LB, O-Line depth, D-Line depth but additions that represent an improvement would just push existing veterans (Bennett, Speights, Quessenberry, Murchison) further down the depth chart or off-the-roster.

Your probably accurate, which is why I'd try my best to get a pick in this round, draft a guy like Burks who can be our 3rd WR AND an outstanding returner, which we still do not have. I'm sick of Whittington returning kicks. X.Smith just scares me now, right or wrong.

Do Not disagree (would love Nickel-LB Louis or 25-year-old CB Scott) but What can the Rams offer?

Most (all) of the above players figure to go fairly quickly today (say between 101-140).
All the Rams have left are picks #207, 232, 252 and 253.
That just doesn't seem like enough to move-up 60-plus spots.
So, you're talking players or 2027 (stronger Draft) draft choices.

Seems to me that we can wait until the sixth round or seventh round and come away with a WR who is also a legit return man. The Rams seem to like Mumpfield for the #3 WR role. Burks was nothing special as a KR in college. Frankly, I think I'd be more intrigued by Dillon Bell than Burks if we were to trade up. And Bell should be available later than Burks. (But I don't think we need to trade up. And it's possible Bell falls to the late sixth round.)

Might need to prepare ourselves to lose a 2027 draft pick in a trade as I sorta have my doubts Snead can wait that long.
Agree.

BTW, does anyone put any stock in the Brian Thomas Jr, (WR Jax) rumors in regards to the Rams trading for him? Saw it posted on a couple Ram pods yesterday.
