This was the set I had. Came with Vikings/ Dolphins, probably because of SB 8 that was a maybe 2 yrs before I got the game. There was a place where you could order other teams, which I did. I had like a dozen different teams. Including both Rams home & away team colors.

I think my parents might still have it stashed away at their house.

Might fetch a pretty penny on eBay if in good condition.

Any concussion is serious, but this one sounds awful! Heal up, coach.

Concussions are technically brain damage, according to a lot of scientists. You're right that any concussion is serious shit.

This is a major one. As a Blues fan, I remember the Joe Thornton hit (which was dirty as fuck, and Thornton should've been suspended much longer than two fucking games) on David Perron. It took Perron a year to fully recover from the concussion he was given as a result of the hit - he had to be in his room in darkness for a while because the lights were too much stimuli for him.

Shanahan's concussion must be different, if not worse, given the force that the car accident must've been, especially since his head possibly wasn't in the right place for the airbags to deploy (if the leaning down to pick up his fallen phone part is true or not; who knows with the way this has been hidden from the public?).

I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't come back this year if noise, lights/stimuli, and struggling thoughts are affecting him this badly. And that's not even getting into the other injuries he suffered.

You never want something this serious to happen, even to a rival coach (especially considering that Kyle Shanahan doesn't seem like a bad person, and he's McVay's friend).

Arizona too. Especially with 6 games against Rams, Hawks, 9ersp

I’m going to break my rule in hating anything related to the 69ers and wish K Shanahan a full recovery…so he enjoy some more Rams ass whooping’

Curious how long this lingers for him. He certainly wouldn't be able to handle play calling duties if he had to today. Long time between now and week 1 though.

As someone with a TBI, that’s a SERIOUS concussion and it legit can take months for that to resolve, not weeks. It won’t be weeks unless he’s allowed to do THC therapy as THC is one of the few compounds that heals the brain from the trauma as a result of concussive and sub-concussive impacts.

Even with hearing protection, it won’t matter because the bone conduction of sound waves manifesting as pressure will still be enough to hurt incredibly. With some of my migraines, just the sound of a door closing too hard is enough to make me nearly vomit. There’s no way he’s gonna be in a bowl with 100+ decibels for most of 3 hours and be able to handle that…and the Aussies will be CRAZY loud… if he tries to tough it out and is in as bad a shape as it seems by these accounts, he’ll be puking on the sidelines before halftime if not before.

Been there, done that.

Just to piss them off, the Rams should claim him and then IR him.

Speaking of claiming waived/ injured guys, Lampkin might not make the Eagles 53. So he could be available. Not that he makes it to the Rams on waivers though as another team would likley claim him.

I'd love for us to get Lampkin back. Fuck Howie Roseman and fuck the Eagles.
