I overreacted to Saddiq.. he's not developed enough to go top ten, probably.
Also, I wouldn't want to spend the draft capital on him when they just got Ferg.

What I loved seeing in this combine was the speed at WR and RB. The Rams could use some explosiveness.

I would take Cooper from Indy with that pick 29... I think he'd be a fantastic pair with Puka.
And then I'd take a flyer later on a pure burner.
I personally like Chris Brazzell. Tall WR that can run routes with sub 4.4 speed.

Lane from USC ran a 4.48... He's on the thin side, but... 6-4 and fast enough with good hands.
I expect he will be a better pro than he was in college. My favorite round 3 option if we haven't gone wideout to that point.

Klubnik looks like a QB today.

Robertson looks way too casual throwing - in a bad way.

So many good WRs and CBs, that they can get those at pick 29 and in rd 2 & 3. So I am really looking for something special at 13. So who could that be? Is it even taking a guy after a trade down and you bring in a freak S like McNeil-Warren or Theineman? Is their an edge that falls? Or a small trade back for a top DT? Those positions are not as deep and a bigger fall off later in the draft.

Green setting records, someone will overdraft this dude. I love the idea of him as a project.

He's got some major tools, and put up solid numbers in college. I'd have no problem with us drafting him early and putting him with McVay under Stafford.
I'm tellin' ya. He's very exciting to watch. Saw it firsthand for 3 years.

Fast as heck. Outruns DB's on long runs, can make occasional eyebrow raising throws, and occasional cringeworthy picks. If he can get up to NFL processing speed, (Easier said than done) he is the reincarnation of Randall Cunningham.

Not my kind of quarterback, but it is the future, for sure. Not sure there will be many pocket passers left in 5-10 years.

They keep saying no pocket passers in the next 5 or 10 yrs yet all 4 QBs in this years title games were pure pocket passers. Sure Maye & Nix can run, but still passers first. Guy's like Green rarely work out. Seems more athlete than passer.

Agreed. Because I've met him and talked with him a little, I am rooting for him. But I will be as shocked as you if he is a success in the NFL.

Baines? He may fall now with the short arms.

On the DL, I posited in my mock draft, that we could try to upgrade Fiske's spot, with Keldric Faulk. I don't think he'll be an edge player - doesn't have the bend - but he'd be an awesome 5T on the line. I could also see Peter Woods in the same role.

Think either of safties you mention would upgrade our defense but a small trade back would be good.

But we don't need a Safety
I guess so.
But it's tough to argue that our secondary wouldn't be vastly improved with him in our defensive backfield.
He's always around the play and / or the ball it seems, like Cooper Dejean.
