Mmmm maybe. But I doubt it. Lots of bad teams who need a safety and will overpay. Happens every off-season
Safety is routinely a lowest-paid position for reason of supply and demand well into every draft.

Perhaps. They are about the same size and I'd say that Bowers is probably the better receiver, but Sadiq is a much better blocker and faster.
Fair enough. I still haven't closely watched Sadiq. But based on casual viewing and highlights, I didn't see it. I viewed Bowers as a special player, even on casual viewing. Uncoverable. Elite YAC. Great hands. Solid blocker. Durability was the only big question mark for me.

Rams interviewing Thompson is funny. That would be an appropriately affordable Tutu replacement. :laugh2:

How he did in the college playoffs against better competition? He can't throw himself the ball.

You are too focused on stats.

Colston Loveland's stats during Michigan's Championship run

3 catches for 22 yards in the Conference Champion vs. Iowa
2 catches for 13 yards in the CFB Semi Final vs. Alabama
3 catches for 64 yards in the Championship vs. Washington
Stats is what we have to go off unfortunately. If he's such a force, why wasn't the offense built more around him say like a Brockers. Sure he can't throw himself the ball but teams tend to get the ball more often than not to their best players. So you say Loveland as a comparison right? Michigan QBs didn't even throw for 2000 yards his last year yet Loveland barely outproduced Sadiq by almost 20 yards when Sadiq's QB, Dante Moore threw for over 3500 yards this past year. Sounds like Loveland did better to me by much more then considering those facts. I'll just keep saying over and over, just think dude is overrated and that's my gut feeling based on what he's put on the field.

And Fields was supposed to be faster. Boston probably did well not to run.
That 40, while a little slower than expected, is not inconsistent with expectations. I figured he'd run in the 4.55 to 4.59 range, so a 4.61 isn't surprising. He's not blowing by guys on film. He wins deep on contested catches using his size, physicality, and catch radius.

Just so ya know, Bowers (yes I corrected this shit lol) and Sadiq were essentially graded the same in run blocking in college. Its ok though, I get it, he's one of your draft crushes hahaha

My friend, Brock Bowers. Brockers was our DL, Michael Brockers. ;)

I'm on the Demond Claiborne train as a late round pick. We need a guy that can actually take it to the house.Nothing against who we have but they just aren't those guys.

I'd be shocked (even though we're meeting with him) if they took Love at 13 if he was available.
I wouldn't be shocked. He's an every down back with the rare trait of taking it to the house. Something any offense can use to be better.

Huh? And with Moore's 3,500 yards Sadiq had the most receptions at 51 with the next guy at 43.

Players don't have to be featured if the offensive mind in charge doesn't want them to be featured and would rather spread the ball around. How does that not make sense?

George Kittle (jrry32's guy pre-draft) wasn't featured in college. That didn't mean he wasn't a stud prospect.

It's fine to believe that Sadiq is overrated. It's how you are coming up with your opinion that makes little sense to me.

McVay targeted Puka - true.
But let’s be real, if he liked him so much and thought he’d be even a sliver of what is is now, there is no way we’d have waited until the 5th round to pick him.
It’s like how people give the pats so much credit for picking Brady - they liked him so much that they passed on him for 6th round (198 players). There’s a lot of luck and good fortune there years later post draft.
Off topic, but this is another reason I hate Asshole Face lol. Remember when he said Mahomes was the best QB he ever scouted and they were going to draft him in the first round? Sure Sean. You watched the best QB you've ever scouted fall all the way to 10 and you never thought to trade up.

And yet still couldn't eclipse the example in Loveland you stated when Loveland's QBs didn't even surpass 2000 yards. Yeah it makes sense why I say Loveland was better to me. Also Loveland drop rate was around 3-4% whereas Saqiq's is over 10%. Dude had 560 yards and I'm sorry to say, he's overrated. With the elite athletic traits he has, should have produced way more imo but hey keep beating the table for the guy cuz I'm definitely not lol
