We play 49's on a short week (Oct 2) TNF and somehow, the 49's also play on a short week (they play the prior Sunday as well against the Jags at home). I was guessing the A-holes making the schedule would have the Rams on a short week and the 49's coming off a bye (or something where the 49's gain an advantage) Nope, both teams will be working on a short week and the 49's have to travel.

5-2 Before Bye

7-3 After Bye

12-5 Season
Agree with 5-2 before the bye, with the obvious defeats coming at Baltimore and Philly.

Think we can go 10-0 after the bye, though: there honestly isn't a team there we shouldn't be beating, barring major injuries to our team.

15-2 coming up.

I so agree with you. It definitely looks like a 10-0 or 9-1 run for those last 10. I threw in the arbitrarily something always goes wrong over time scenarios to drop it to 7-3. I mean, 7-3 is still a nice run, right? Like you mentioned, "barring major injuries". Could be a couple minor injuries to a couple guys that say they miss a few weeks, maybe whacky Stafford shows up a game or two and can hardly complete a pass. Or, the starters get benched to rest for the postseason the last game or two. For stuff like that, I tossed in a couple losses.

5 early starts....not terrible, I am counting England as that is a cluster.
I only see one game with a solid potential to be a cold weather game and that is the Panthers.
If it rains, it will be 40s or so, if not it will be 50/60s for Panthers game since its 1pm game. Unless some freak cold front comes down and makes it 20 degrees below avg which is possible.
