Why is it every year we lose two to three OLine in week one?
I think it is their soft preseason routine. I just don’t believe they can get ready for the intensity of game action with the little they do.

I understand the “getting injured in preseason arguments” but there are decades of data to show it’s not any more likely to happen then.

There’s also WAY more money in the game and I believe many of these “injuries” were never even considered in past decades.

Well...lets calm down because the injury bug didn't hit that hard only Avila and Allen are out. It coud be worse.

SJD will no doubt play at a level above who he is vs his old team. But I don't see the Titans as a big challenge if the defensive front focuses on actual contain and pressure cooks that young QB. From there the offense should have the ball a lot and points should happen.

"The little they do"... okay.

Injuries may not be "more likely" to happen.. but more games present more opportunities to get injured. Games that mean nothing.

They may or may not have been considered... but they are now and organization's literally have medical teams to determine if guys can play. Guys aren't just saying.. "I'm hurt."

"the little they do"....

yup, all training camp and preseason all they do is sit around and drink beer till week one comes...

no intense battles for jobs cuz it's all pre-determined.. so just relax

we'll get into shape as the season unfolds...

yes indeed... wisdom from the third row

lmao

go rams

I have always been open to the OL playing 2 series in the preseason to get themselves somewhat comfortable to game action and each other especially if it is against the other teams starters.

If they are going to get hurt in 2 series in the preseason, what is going to keep them from getting hurt in real games?
So 2 series in a pre-season game against 2nd-4th stringers is enough to get a team ready? Why then wouldnt they be ready after the first 2 series of the first actual game?

Ask Trent Green what he thinks about preseason injuries.
