Like I stated to a post with Oldschool.The Rams didn’t give up 2 1st rd picks. They thought 1 season ahead.

Les Snead is excellent at mid season trades.Weather it be for the season or the future.He almost seems to be magic with some of his pickups.

IMO besides picking up Roger McCreary for the cheap.He & The Rams kept some money on the table for The Trade Deadline.

The thing I think which could not be True ? I don’t get into contracts anymore,but the thought of how they evolve as a Franchise.WE can ALL look back,but with this group such as Kyren & his signing.NOW Signing LANDMAN mid/season.Dies that go on this season books as well to get to that CAP Level ??

Like I said I don’t know,but the thought of Landman being that mid/season trade in a Cap sense seems like a good idea in theory??

I know most around here know more than myself on this.Maybe I can get my mind clear.I’ve been told a lot this week about different topics on sports of how F”d up I am,or at least proven wrong.

I still think USC has had the tougher schedule as an example.Then Penn State at -#3 shouldn’t have as much of a reason. —Plus I had a thought about the coaches poll & when it started.
The NBA & college BBall Players & History? Comparing 1960’s to 2020 doesn’t work well.Then go back to Thorpe & how those Players were treated as other examples.

THIS Rams team? Faulk no hesitation. Our current backs would be sent to ST’s duty if that happened. Lol

Intentional hyperbole before someone comes in and defends KW.

Way I see it Young is getting home and having a great season for us with protections going away a lot. He is not a rare talent in power or being bendy on that edge. His speed translates mostly with contain, which is valuable and I appreciate it a ton and always mention it. But Edge is a big money position so do you pay big money for that?

I would not pay big money for that. Just how I see it.

Will the Rams pay big money for that? Possibly. I mean fuck they paid Tutu. They are more prone to pay dudes on this roster than I have been in many cases, so perhaps I'm a bit too conservative on this front. We'll see, and it's not like I'm going to complain if they retain a player of Young's ability.

I just think he's going to cost much more than what his value is. And I like the replacement they have in house. Also this draft has some edges I really like and we have a nice collection of picks in that top hundred.

All valid points and I, like many fans, often over value guys already on the team. I don’t want to see an overpay, and our FO does a good job of avoiding just that, but I hope they can come to an agreement that works well for the team while rewarding him for his development. More likely than not that is just wishful thinking however.
