YES, Super Mario is back! I keep wondering why we didn't keep him on our practice squad.

Wonder whom we're moving out for those two. Hope it's not Presley or Edwards; both of them were promising in preseason as well.
I don’t think Reserve/Future contracts impact the Rams’ current Practice Squad … but I am not sure.

Correct it's to keep a player not on the active roster for the start of the league year. It's basically the practice squad of the off season. Teams can start signing people to it in January.

I feel like the Demarcus Robinson departure triggered the Tutu extension.

If no DUI’s he’s the #3 this season.

Does anyone think McVay will activate Tutu vs the Seagulls?
Yeah, that DUI may have been an underrated part of the offseason and Tutu's extention.

As far as him being activated, probably not - McVay has even said that the offense evolved away from him during the season. I think the emergence of 13 personnel and Puka's growth against man coverage definitely had a part in making him less or not at all important.

Love the post there by Mayfield. Just back it up when you play him.
Seems like a situation where two things are true (Hi Jourdan!) at once: Baker had a turd personality early in his career that was part of what was derailing him in Cleveland AND through his NFL journey afterwards he was able to mature and turn it around so that his personality and immaturity stopped holding his play back.

It's one of my favorite NFL storylines. I hope they get the coordinator sitch fixed in Tampa cause watching him play good ball is so fun.

Sounds like some unnecessary hair splitting to me. I'd go with he's a cocky fucker and can rub people the wrong way. But when you succeed, people see your shortcomings differently than when you're perceived as a failure.

They should have dealt him at the trade deadline. Maybe could have gotten a pick swap for a WR needy team or more likley a 2027 late rd pick or pick swap. Also would have saved some cap space.

He was put on IR the week before the trade deadline, so there wasnt a chance of moving him then

Ya know I get it that we needed Tutu for his speed & downfield threat skills. He actually does catch the ball when he's targeted & has decent hands, so he certainly does have value.
But... anyone catch Whittington on this play? as he catches up to Puka to throw a block?? :explode1:

I was at that game, same view as the video. I thought for sure he was tackled before he broke loose. Very exciting moment for my Grandson and myself.
