Why couldn’t the Rams have done a similar trade for Kupp? I’d rather have old Kupp than old Theilen

From all reports I’ve seen/heard, Isaac Teslaa tore it up in camp and made Patrick expendable.
Because Kupp was making WAAAAAAAY more $$.

Have read the same on Teslaa.

Contracts, Theilen is on the books for 1 year and $8.3 million. That was a couple games of what Kupp cost with the contract we had him to.

The tone here is hard to read but the guy is being serious.

I thought the lane for Dart to be a good QB was pretty slim but it either looks like he's taking that lane at double the speed limit or the lane was far larger than I realized. Will be fun to see him play this season no matter what happens and while I thought starting him early or even this year would be a mistake, I'm now in the camp of just get him out there ASAP and see what happens.

That and a dominate Dline might make this team really interesting.

Dart was underrated. I'll be very surprised if he's not a fine pro.

He is gonna do some rookie shit though if he plays.

I cannot make fun of this situation. The Rams have been in QB purgatory in the past. It totally sucks for any fans. If it was the Niners though, then I could lmao about it.
Cleveland did it to themselves with poor management. Signing Desean Watson to a fully guaranteed contract was beyond stupid. They deserve everything they are getting. What a woeful organization. If I was a player, I would not play for Cleveland, Jets, or the Panthers. Bad, bad owners.

I was thinking of it more from the fans perspective. I agree, the organization deserves everything that’s happening to them.

I am making fun of the Organization not the fans. The fans deserve more.

Just like I made fun of Snyder as the Redskins/Commodes owner. The fans of that team deserve more too.

Well, let's see how their careers would be right now, meaning their development as players, if O'Connell was here and Bennett was drafted by Vegas?

I am guessing O'Connell would be way ahead of Bennett at this point.
Yep. He would be doing a much better job standing on that sideline.

It's kinda funny, there seems to be a number of third rail topics in football: cognitive decline in older coaches, owners; and personal conduct.

During this whole Watson saga, not one reporter has opined (probably told not to for legal reasons) about the fact that Watson's head was probably exploded by all the allegations (which I suspect were true) and most likely, he no longer could use sexual gratification to reduce his anxieties the way he was before and so he just started to unravel and couldn't function at the level he used to as a QB.
