Just glad he didn't go to the whiners. Now we at least get to play against him in the Superbowl.

Me at the 9ers....

If the Rams were worried about Limmer they would have went after Kelly, who went to Minnesota. Signing Shelton is basically saying "ok we know we won't be taking a depth C in this class so let's make sure that role is filled now in FA on the cheap."
Vikings signed Kelly for 9-Mil APY. You think the Rams were willing to pay 9-mil for that position?

We all know Shelton is a small center that can't handle s bull rush to save his life.
Shelton: 6'4" 300 lbs - Limmer: 6'5" 307 lbs ........ Shelton gets Bullrushed but Limmer does not?

I just hope that between the 2, that Stafford stays protected enough to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Fair, but here's hoping Limmer can add another 5ish maybe 10ish lbs finally being in an NFL program. Lineman's biggest glow up is their first offseason.

I think you're betting on Limmer ascending both physically and mentally. Shelton is insurance for a run. Maybe some vet knowledge.

One thing that I am completely annoyed about from these draft signings is that no one has signed Reeder or Rozeboom.

I am scared to death that both will be coming back to the Rams.

Reeder is pretty much useless at this point in his career.

Rozeboom is only good as special teams and a back-up, but if he is the starter again - ouch ouch ouch

I'm fine with Drob and Kupp both being gone.

It's clear McVay wants more big plays and a more open offense with speed.. Kupp and Drob really hindered that for us late in the season and into the playoffs.

I'm sure they both have many offers. They just want to be wined and dined.

Or perhaps they're a package deal?

Rozeboom will probably be back. Hopefully only as a guy to compete with a rookie in camp or as depth.

I’d be surprised if Rams even attempted to bring Reeder back. That would be an obvious sign of accepting mediocrity at a position of serious need.

I agree.... yet I've been saying this to myself for like 5 years now and somehow he always finds his way back.

Not miscommunication between him and Dorson? Dotson blocked no one on that play
The right guards job in that situation is to help the right tackle to prevent the inside move by the edge. Dotson turned to Havenstein to help him. It was Limmer’s job to slow down Carter.

Even if he slows him down, just gets in the way it gives them time to get a pass off.

The excuses given as to why they may be back: "They know the system. They are both we not me players. Yada yada...."

I hope I don't see any of this... meaning they will be replaced.
