Sorry but Trubisky as a comp for Dart is utterly ignorant on that writer.
He was a 1 year starter and there wasnt nearly enough tape on him to see all his weaknesses.
Dart has been a starter for 3 years in SEC with success each year.
I dont know how good Dart will be but you look at what happened to Sam Howell after a successful year in UNC, he went from a potential 1st rounder to a 5th. With all the flaws in Trubisky game I imagine you would have seen a similar drop off

I think the comp has more to do with arm strength, eyes dropping down due to pass rush with escapability but not pocket presence, unable to come off and process from 1st read and +plus athleticism.

I think the comp has to do with his abilities.

Its apples to oranges. If Trubisky is a 5th rounder, he's not a comp. That is the significant flaw in the comparison.

It's not a bad play if the money is ok, Rodgers was really pretty good down the stretch and for sure would love to stick it to the Jets
