If you include Goff at $69.6 million there are 5 over $70 million next year. Add in Mahomes at $78.2, Lamar $74.5 and Dak at $74m. Some crazy contracts hitting next year.

For the Browns the worst might not even be Watson. They have about $50 million in void years from Njoku (24 of that wow), Wyatt Teller, Bitonio, Ethan Pocic, Michael Hall and Devin Bush.

On top of Deshaun's 2026 80 mill cap hit, they take a 50 mill dead cap hit in '27, or they can just cut him and take a 131 mill cap hit. WOW

Ouch! Maybe the best case scenario for Cleveland is that Watson comes back healthy and is better than Gabriel and Sanders.

That rule should be for first time HC's. Once you get your shot, your former team shouldn't get rewarded with a comp pick. The whole idea is to give minorities an opportunity. He already got one opportunity. After that it shouldn't be an issue.

Maybe, but then we wouldn't have gotten two picks for Morris. I'm glad the rule is the way it is.
