Way too early to say that. I think we have a lot of good picks, just not the positions most people wanted.
Agreed. The best player we got won’t be known until next years draft.

Meanwhile we got potential starters at TE, iLB and playable depth guys at OLB, RB and DT (RB a future starter).

Four starters from this draft in 1-2 years: TE, RB, iLB and ATL 2026 1st. Plus a maniac OLB pass rusher and rotational DT.

Well, don't see any starters in this draft. Feels like a "depth" draft for the most part, which is why I made the comment, early on as it be.
Why can't a depth draft be a great draft? There's a reason they say grade the draft 3 years later.

I see Ferguson and Paul starting easily. Stewart, Hunter, and Hamilton will get snaps in the first year (and I see Stewart as the Byron Young replacement, eventually). And I could see us getting the pick of the litter in UDFAs.

But honestly not a lot of spots in desperate need of finding a new starter (as much as many of us want to upgrade the Secondary). Quality depth is something they needed and did.

Well I will say this, after watching Mumpfield's reel, he is quite adept at catching the ball twice on the same play

After watching Mumpfield's highlights I realize his QB was dogshit. Always had to adjust to catch the floppy dog that was thrown to him.

Mello Dotson is my UDFA like Speights last year. Go get him RAMS!

Brown or Pierce ... do you see what happened when we added Alaric as a UDFA? Come on down!

His quarterback was elephantshit, but that doesn't absolve him of some of the really negative things I saw on tape when I was watching their running back, Israel Abanikanda and the OL. I came away with a totally negative opinion on Mumpfield (and a positive one on Abanikanda).

Add in Cobee Bryant and/or Mello Dotson to Pierce. I'll even absolve them of their KU sins.

Texans just picked Lachey. Could be a sneaky good pick for them.
