I said his injury could push him back and he damned near did don't act like he didn't. He's also more likely to start on the pup list than not. I also said for many reasons I didn't think the Rams would draft him.

True - but his career IMO with Philly is going to be pretty good with there DC who The Rams idealize(Mcvay).

Frankly if Atlanta doesn't end up with the worst record in the league, the Rams probably have no shot.

And Cleveland has an extra first in 2026 now too.

There's no guarantee who will pick number 1 next season, but Les has talked to Manning. We now have 2 1sts for next year. If Les wants Manning I'm sure he's voiced that to him in discussions. I have full faith the Browns will be Browns and fuck something up if it comes down to it. Lol.

No problem with the trade, but we gave up a lot of this year's draft capital. Dropped 20 spots out of rd 1 and gave up pick 101. So for this year, we reduced the ability for this draft to make an impact. Thus not an all on type draft for this year. This was a trade to extend the window by getting us a QB next year.

Or now rumors are suggesting it's for Trey Hendrickson.

I find it funny though that those who said we had to use that 26th pick because this is a win now team are fine with trading down to 46 and giving up a 3rd this year.

So obviously it's not an "all in" year... And I like the trade, but as I had stated this is about expanding the window and this trade does that while not helping us much this year unfortunately. I do hate losing the 3rd. Wish we would have at least gotten a 5th this year instead of the 7th.

I wouldn't say we had to but if we did, then it should have been used on a win now type player. However the Rams saw the board fall in a way they felt the talent difference wasn't much different in the middle of the 2nd. Add to that a 1st from Atlanta next year and its an offer we couldn't refuse. I'm with you on losing the 3rd as I definitely wish we had found a way to keep that. No telling if we'll even pick at #46 either but I'm sure we'll make a pick somewhere tomorrow. Gonna be way more interesting than tonight.
