That walk off grand slam will always be remembered by Dodger fans. Iconic. Although I wouldn't quite put it on the same level as Gibson's. The Yankees were not heavily favored like the A's were. Eckersley was the best closer in the game. It felt like a prize fighter who got his bell rung and never recovered. Didn't help that the next game the A's had to face the hottest pitcher in the league.
I will rank the Freeman moment as a close second to the best moments I've ever watched as a Dodger fan. I wish I could post a picture of my personalized Dodger jersey number 34 with my last name on the back. For some reason I can find it in my pictures but when I try to post it the picture isn't there. I had that number as a softball player for over 30 years as a tribute to Fernando. Wore it every game this postseason. I suppose now I can wash it.
