Is Emmanuel Ogbah a fit for the Rams? He’s still available right?

Okay, but hear me out, what if we go Murphy then Kneeland in the 2nd.

For me personally, our pick in the 2nd is high for Sweat but curious if we move down.
I'm not any kind of evaluator so I just look at mocks and scouting reports. Most mocks have Sweat gone by the time it gets to our second pick. He's so big he definitely requires double teams. Probably not much a pass rush threat at that size, but would be nice to have a space eater on run plays.

A good draft for me would be taking Latu or Verse at 19. Then T'Vondra Sweat in the second. Even if they have to move up a few spots to get him. A big space eating DT that requires double teams on run plays ala Vita Vea.
That is my ideal start as well. Immediately shore up the DL in a big way.

I think Sweat has a very good chance of being gone by our 2nd pick. Big guys who stuff the run and who can also rush the passers are pretty valuable. He'd be fantastic at NT on our line, and many other lines around the league.

And I don't think there's many of guys his size in this draft so you guys may be right!

Always kind of hoped we'd get Shenault at a minimum for his return abilities. Returner is going to be even more important next season.

Chiefs lose stadium renovation vote, leaving their future in doubt

Jackson County voters rejected a sales tax to pay to renovate Arrowhead Stadium for the Chiefs and build a new stadium for the Royals.

Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas released a statement after the measure failed 78,352 to 56,606, per KMBC.

“Over the months ahead, I look forward to working with the Chiefs and the Royals to build a stronger, more open, and collaborative process that will ensure the teams, their events and investments remain in Kansas City for generations to come,” Lucas wrote on social media.

Chiefs team president Mark Donovan threatened the team could leave if the measure didn’t pass. It could have been an attempt merely to scare voters into extending the 3/8th cent stadium sales tax.

It didn’t work, though, and now the Chiefs’ future really is in doubt.

“We respect the process. We respect the decision of the Jackson County voters,” Donovan said in a prepared statement Tuesday night. “We’re disappointed. We feel we put forth the best offer for Jackson County. We were ready to extend the longstanding partnership that the teams have enjoyed with this county. This is important. . . . We will do and look to do what is in the best interest of our fans and our organization as we move forward.”

Screw the Hunts. They're worth billions, let them foot the bill Why should the public pay for a stadium they make nothing on?

Stan killed the other owners by building his stadium in la. The nfl used la for 30 years as a bargaining chip against other cities, threatening to move their teams there if the city didn't cough up the dough.

Can't do that anymore.

They want the public to fund it, but will take all the profit themselves. Capitalism in action.
Publicly funding the stadium is actually the definition of democratic socialism. The government funds it and those in power/control reap most of the benefit.

Definition of Capitalism: An economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit."

Capitalism: One example could be a family-run bakery (or Stadium). The owners have invested their own money to open and run the business, and they make decisions about production and pricing. Socialism: In a socialist system, the government or society as a whole would collectively own the bakery (Stadium) or resource.

What Stan did was closer to an example of capitalism but even he needed some government help.

That's not capitalism it's the opposite actually. This is a greedy piece of shit sponging off what stupid voters have allowed in the past. Lroenke is a capitalist and paid every dime of his stadium.
