Because it’s the off-season and people will talk about anything. Why would we be talking about trading for a starting QB

That’s sort of what I thought.Wouldn’t be worth what The Jags will want & have to pay him what he will be worth. No, he's not.

Yeah pretty surprising with the talk was he wanted to be the top paid CB. Looking at it $19M aav isn't even top 5. Though that is the most guaranteed which probably was what he wanted.
That division is gonna be fun this season.Titans going all in... on Will Levis's rookie window.
They really are gonna soup up a Honda and take it to the Gran Prix.
Yeah no doubt.Titans going all in... on Will Levis's rookie window.

I liked him coming out and I liked his rookie showing too. He's got a good talent level for the position, good size, and he is a known hard worker. So to me there is no reason to think he will fail in the NFL. But we'll see. Will Levi’s ain’t it
Bingo. This is the Kansas City Chiefs. A culture of winning and excellence. A very well run franchise. Very similar to the Rams in these aspects. If they are happy to move on, that is a red flag. This is not the same situation as Jalen Ramsey and the Jags. Not nearly the same talent level either in my book.I'm never a fan of a player who wants to leave his team for big money who has a knee issue, and the team is all for him leaving. How often do these guys ever come close to being worth it?
Also, I read somewhere that they had to meet minimum salary cap spending requirements.Titans going all in... on Will Levis's rookie window.

Oh interesting, yeah I've only sorta been following them. Also, I read somewhere that they had to meet minimum salary cap spending requirements.
Snead is an outstanding CB, but KC cannot pay everybody. They chose Chris Jones over Snead, which is understandable.Bingo. This is the Kansas City Chiefs. A culture of winning and excellence. born in Massachusetts and grew up in Connecticut.. of course he's fucking weirdOnly real knock on the guy I can see is he's fuckin weird. But that doesn't really stop a guy from being good, as teammates will overlook that shit if you can play.
Absolutely, what's crazy is the CB position was crazy deep for KC last year. Jaylen Watson and Joshua Williams are good CB's and they had to split reps due McDuffie and Sneed manning the other two spots in the nickel. So the new starters are on the team and Veach is looking before bargains to groom. (McDuffie, Watson, and Williams are all on rookie contracts. Bryan Cook (S) and C. Connor (S.) as well.Well, look at it this way, the Rams have 8 top 100 picks over the next 2 drafts, maybe more with a trade down or two. So I feel confident that the Rams can bolster their secondary without adding another significant contract that will hamper their cap and their ability to spread out dollars over multiple positions.
The Chiefs must feel the same way.
That certainly did play a factor.Rumor is his knee scared some teams off.
It really does feel like a salary dump as another ROD member put it. What's confusing is the Chiefs recently said they were ok with Sneed playing on the tag and I guess Sneed was too. Then they traded him for peanuts a few days later. (Stuff like that makes me sick. Chiefs Kingdom loves Sneed but the teams in trade talks obviously felt very different.)maybe the chiefs feel that way maybe they couldn't afford another big deal. the daft is always going to be a crapshoot but I know Sneed can be a shut down corner. I'm hoping the Rams plan works out and they can keep getting better.
It happened, and then he was off to the next couple of places. Still in play, but we haven't signed him yet.I might have missed it, but any update on Whites visit with the Rams? Did that happen?
