This is where it would be nice have our #2 pick. He will be 29 next yr so not sure he warrants a #1 from a team that could possibly be picking higher than 15 if things go south. Sure, a late #1 from a team like the Chiefs, that would be more in line.

I would offer a 2 & 4, but I would bet they want to move him to the AFC.
I've always respected his game. Think I had read somewhere that he's near the top of the pile in yards per coverage snap, which is not a surprise. Still think we need to retain our draft assets for LT or a pass game stud, but if we could shake him loose for what you suggest I'd be fine with it.

AR-15 is a running back who cannot pass the ball for shit.

And guess what...

He will never be able to pass for shit no matter what team he plays for.

I'd do it for a 2026 second. Stafford isn't going to be here forever, and Richardson is only twenty-two and has oodles of potential.
Assuming Indianapolis wants to move Anthony Richardson at this early time, which would really surprise me, don't you think the Colts could do better than that?

Even Ryan Leaf and JaMarcus Russell made it through their third seasons with the teams that drafted them ... and, they were truly turds.

That's probably true but I felt the same way with Josh Allen.

Josh Allen in his first year was a RB who could not pass for shit.

I don't know what he did during his first offseason but his accuracy increased tenfold.

Wonder if Richardson could do the same. Probably not but ......

And Josh Rosen didn't even make it through one, and he was a top ten pick.

Yeah, that was a bad pick to begin with tbh.

Guys who don't have enough work in college are very risky prospects, especially a guy like A-Rich.

After drafting Rosen 10th overall in 2018, the Cardinals used the 1st overall pick in 2019 on Kyler Murray ... thus the trade of Rosen to Miami. Plus, Rosen had almost twice as many pass attempts in his one season in Arizona as Richardson has to date.

I would be OK with the Rams trading a 2026 second round pick for a talented 22-year old quarterback prospect. I'm just saying it would be unusual for the Colts to move-on so quickly; and I think they could get more in return.

I’m not sure I would have spent a 2nd on Richardson coming out of college. Why would anyone give up a 2nd now?
Potential? That’s maybe a very late 3rd or 4th at best…for me that is.

He really doesn't even have good college tape, at least not what I wanted to see. Most of his highlights are off-schedule throws & runs. Inaccurate, relies on scrambles... unless he gets an offseason to work on his passing game, it's a hard no for me.

If Justin Fields was only worth a 5th rounder, how is Richardson worth anything more than pocket lint?

^^ he’s also the type of QB that would drive McVay crazy.

Unless a QB has great accuracy and is a quick processor of defenses/information, he’s not a good fit. The latter seemed to doom Goff with McVay.

Richardson makes the “Wow” throws... both good ones and bad ones. :laugh4:

Hard pass for me.

A good athlete doesn’t always make a good QB. He lacks the processing speed, especially what McVay’s offense requires.
