Did they telecast from prison? That’s where that idiot belongs.

As a former NFL player, you should have a high tolerance for not getting every call. Then you start a riot as a spectator at a youth game over officiating, there’s no excuse. I hope it weighs on Aqib’s conscience that he is partially responsible for a coach’s death and his brother being in prison.

It did look fake.
Seeing more and more fakes these days. What the hell? People can't stay entertained with all the crazy shit actually going on in the world? I agree, this one was a cheap fake.

Wow. Tua gives an insight into what it was like being coached by Flores.

"To put it in simplest terms," Tagovailoa said, "if you woke up every morning and I told you, ‘You suck at what you did, that you don’t belong doing what you do, that you shouldn’t be here, that this guy should be here, that you haven’t earned this.'
"And then you have somebody else come in and tell you, ‘Dude, you are the best fit for this, like you are accurate, you are the best whatever. You are this, you are that.’ Like how would it make you feel listening to one or the other?"
"You hear it — regardless of what it is, the good or the bad — and you hear it more and more, you start to actually believe that. I don't care who you are, you could be the President of the United States. [If] you have a terrible person that's telling you things that you don't want to hear, or that you probably shouldn't be hearing, you're gonna start to believe that about yourself," Tagovailoa said.

Now we know why the Rams didn't pursue him. $10M for one year. They weren't going hand that out again. White is only getting $4.25M according to OTC... So the Rams weren't giving $10M to Gilmore.
I’d like another quality vet CB but in the <$2m range. Ahkello Witherspoon was a little over $1m last year. He’d be great depth imo.

Seems to be new buzz that Ravens or Chiefs might sign him. Ravens have some injury issues there I believe and the Chiefs depth sucks. I figured he'd get sucked up here or soon after the season starts.

DeSean Jackson Reveals 1 Regret In His Career

In 15 NFL seasons, wide receiver DeSean Jackson put together a relatively impressive resume, which includes three Pro Bowl nods, and he led the league four times in yards per reception.

In 2021, he joined the Los Angeles Rams, who had gone all-in in an attempt to win a Super Bowl championship, but he didn’t play much, and at midseason, he asked to be released, which he was.

While Jackson ended up getting a Super Bowl ring from the Rams, he said on Fox Sports 1’s “Speak” that he regrets not staying put in L.A. and being with them when they clinched the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

By 2021, Jackson wasn’t quite the consistent threat he had been just a few years prior, and he was low on the list of offensive priorities for head coach Sean McVay.

He did reference the Week 3 contest in which he had 120 yards and a touchdown on just three catches against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he felt afterward that he could’ve done more for the Rams.

Instead of finishing out the year with the eventual world champions, Jackson was picked up by the Las Vegas Raiders, where he was also used sparingly.

He finished the 2021 campaign with a total of just 20 catches for 454 yards and two touchdowns.

He had just nine catches for 153 yards in seven games the following year as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, and after signing a one-day contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, his original team, last November, he retired from the NFL.

That was a dumbass move by him.

You know the old adage "When One Door Closes, Another Opens"

This made me wonder, if the Rams would have signed Odell Beckham had Jackson not forced himself out.

Wasnt the Robert Woods injury the reason they signed him?

Had Jacobs pegged as the #4 CB behind White, Williams and Durant.

Even with Lake at the Star-position, that is a very thin cornerback group.

Tomlinson and Jolly; plus undrafted free agents ... McCutcheon and rookies Wallace, Woods and Lampkin.
And that's with White coming off two season ending injuries and Williams battling a hamstring injury.
That's scary thin.:wow2:
