No - and I'm 76 - ashamed of myself.

Who?
Thems my boys.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4LdmF8Ifeg
Harrah used to talk about how unmanly Gastineau was. He shaved his arms, must have creep-ed him out.
Its funny how teams are seared in your mind when you are young. I have a easier time remembering the 79 SB team than the current one. And it was SO MUCH harder to get info on them back then.
Oh, it was my senior year and we drafted this Dickerson guy.
Same game.

I agree up to a point but I am 64; and I think my age/experience is a factor in that feeling and preference.
May I ask how old you are? Just think it's relevant.

Agree 100% here.
Do you remember who the first (maybe only) player and opponent to physically take exception to a Gastineau sack-dance with a shove that resulted in an on-field-fight?
A little younger than you. Age is relevant yeah. I didn't mind Billy White Shoes dances those were fun, my dad and I used to laugh at those. But Mark's stuff was arrogant and in your face, and no one used to dance on defense. Now it's an epidemic, but it's okay as long as they don't all run to the EZ cameras.

Slater was the 1st to get penalized and start a bench clearing brawl. I watched that game back then on TV. But there were some players, including his teammates, that didn't like "that dumb dancing stuff." Wasn't accepted much back then. Neither was crowd noise where the QB couldn't be heard very well by teammates... remember the refs stopping games for a few minutes?
