Shouldn't start too soon imo. During the early years of this ROD mock draft, free agency made a mess of many peoples drafts, making it impossible to take seriously. Perhaps start this thing a week or so prior to the real draft.

If I was the Lions GM, I would try to trade down from the #2 spot a few times to get as many draft picks I can get in this draft.

This is an extremely deep class this year at almost every position but QB.

Understood. And I agree with you … do the Lions concur that Goff is their franchise QB ? Will be interesting to see what they do.

I saw a much more confident Goff in his last few games with the lions.

He got much better once he got Josh Reynolds (#4 with most teams) and the USC receiver who got better as the season went on.

Before that - he had no one at WR.

I want to see what they will be like this year. Could they overtake the Packers?
