If the Texans rumours are true they are going to overplay their hand and eventually get pennies on the dollar.

Darius played better late in the season. He is more of an outside corner and not the versatile piece that they tried moving around like they did this year.

That’s one dilemma with raw prospects who have elite athleticism. They don’t come in with the knowledge or instincts that a guy like Weddle had.

Snead obviously has preferred the athleticism over football instinct and IQ when it comes to picking up DBs after round 3. You don’t get a lot of John Johnson types later in the draft and you rarely find anyone better. The Patriots did a great job finding JC Jackson. I hope Rochelle can become something similar or maybe not quite that good then the Rams can afford him in 3 years.
Whoever signs Williams will be cutting him next year or the year after. He's just too inconsistent, and he still had guys roasting him outside the hashes too.

Now maybe Staley has him figured out in terms of getting him mentally prepped to play fast and all. But he got roasted vs Green Bay in the playoffs under Staley too. He's a corner who needs help over the top now or he's fucked. And guys like that you can find well into most drafts and coach them up.

NY has no end of "happy ending" options in their massage parlors.

We know that Watson is an upgrade over Mayfield, but does this tell us that the Jets aren’t enamored either Zach Wilson? That is a big offer.

Wtf are they thinking? Watson is never playing for them so that's crazy. Only thing I can think of is they want the team they trade with to have so many players involved in the deal that they really suck next year for a better chance at a higher draft pick lol
Don’t know if the report is credible first of all and it could be that Watson turned it down.

Their last excitement was when they had Mangini (or as they called Mangenius, or others called him Mangina) in his first year as head coach.

That was 2006-2008.

Been there. It sucks.

Maybe they heard what Arians wanted for Brady and figured they can do even better.

Draft picks are a gamble. Teams can go a decade or more without a good QB. They can go much longer without finding a great one.

Yeah it's crazy. And even if you don't like Wilson for your QB job he can be flipped in this market most likely.

I mean if it's me and I don't like Wilson then I'd have them replace Wilson with a secondary piece or two, as that is Houston's biggest issue outside QB. Sounds like the makings of a fair deal were there.

Then I'd draft Corral.

Please no to Cory, he was Reeder before Reeder was a thing. Ok maybe that's a bit harsh because CL was a beast on special teams.
Seem to recall him being better in coverage though. Was that a thing or am I just old?

He was I just remember too many tackles in run or pass defense after a first down.
