Also, I remember when Kromer came on and how we thought we needed a complete overhaul of the offensive line and yet new technique and development turned Havenstein, Rodger Saffold and Jamon Brown into legit starters.

Maybe they believe that Carberry can take the guys they have to the next level?

Don't you guys get tired of singing this same OL song and dance every year?

It's clear they have a lot of young guys there that they want to let develop, same as last year when we saw guys like David Edwards, Austin Corbett, and a little of Noteboom at LT stepping up to the plate. And guess what? It actually worked for the most part, our OL wasn't the main reason our O was average last year, it was our lack of explosive plays/deep threat and Goff's regression imo.

We're still going to get some developmental talent at the position at some point today, but they clearly didn't think there was anyone there in the 2nd/3rd who was going to make that much of a difference for the next couple years.
A change at QB might have a positive impact on OL play.....nice that his go to move isn’t a known to everyone spin out backwards to lose even more yards.....

Maybe, my Brotha. All I remember from last year is multiple times seeing the interior of the line getting blown up. Now, with our supposed starting center from that line gone, it's hard to imagine it getting better without help. Man.... I hope I'm wrong!
Me too!

We put about .00000001 seconds in this, and know about 000000000001%, that the complete organization does.

And there have been so many busts in higher o-line picks I do believe, and hope, our team knows what they are doing.

Wow, another WR.

Edit: I stand corrected, this was the guy with the incredible Pro Day and likely has size for TE I'm guessing?

I'm down with this pick. If you don't think that any guy at Edge or OL is gonna be better than the depth guys you have, go for a possible weapon.

There were arguments online that with how shallow this draft class was (depth in mid rounds but falls apart around 150) that basically you're just spending picks on UFDAs now.

Saffold took several years and position changes to develop into the player that he did.
position change as in where they position the stadium he plays home games has had a positive impact on his play like many former Rams

Wow, another WR and one I can't even find ANY info on. No scouting reports.... if there is ONE thing we do not need, its ANOTHER WR..... really confusing and frustrating.

This is why teams have paid scouting departments to find obscure players. They don't rely on Google searches and youtube.
