My pessimistic rebuttal:

1. Blythe didn't seem like an "experiment" in 2020 to me because he took over for an injured Allen for the second half of 2019, and by all accounts he was an upgrade. I remember McVay saying "Blythe really settled down the center position", or something like that. So entering 2020, Blythe was a known commodity.
2. Unfortunately it seems that players switching OL positions "sometimes" doesn't work out. Noteboom seems adequate at LT, but sucks at OG. IIRC Blythe was much better at OC than at OG. I recall there was talk of moving Hav to OG one year, but that didn't pan out. My point is... just because Corbett was solid as an OG, that sure doesn't mean he'll transfer seamlessly to OC. And I think it's hard to tell in practice, nothing quite compares to real game experience while the bullets are flying.

As always, hope I'm wrong and whomever the Rams start at OC works out great. Just seems like they're taking a significant risk, regardless. As a fan, I wish they'd sign Austin Reiter as a "backup plan", since he's a known commodity and would probably be a slight upgrade from Blythe in terms of pass pro (slight downgrade in run game).

I understand the frustration, and since no-one on the team has started at the position other than Allen, it's difficult to say how this will ultimately play-out, all I can really add is that when Corbett was initially traded for, the thought was that he would be replacing Allen, and then Allen got himself injured before Corbett could learn the line calls well enough to take over. Since Blythe knew the calls, he was immediately moved over, so in a sense, what Corbett is facing should he move inside, is something similar to Blythe, in that he has now also spent enough time at LG & RG to fully understand what his responsibilities at Center would be. Thing is though, imo, Corbett was a far better RG with only a single season under his belt than Blythe was as a vet. I have no reason to believe that Corbett moving inside will be any less an improvement than when he replaced Blythe at RG. Still, if this is how it plays out, i'd like to see us draft Meinerz for LG, and Edwards could either move back to RG where he played in 2019 or perhaps even Anchrum could compete with him at RG, leaving Edwards to also compete at RT should we make a trade for Havenstein. Just too many options at this point, hopefully we'll have an answer today as this draft plays out. jmo.

He's kind of a Bavaro type more than a Kittle IMO. Guys bounce off him. I love that but not sure McVay would lol.

If McVay goes TE it will probably be the Miami kid. And I don't like Miami players, I realize that doesn't make a lot of sense but it is what it is.

I'd go with Tremble over Jordan (Miami kid). Tremble tested better and is an absolute dog as a blocker.

Agree about Tremble over Jordan. I'm not a fan of Jordan, like, at all. Do think Tremble is better then he was in college as a receiver even.

Listening to Snead's press conference from earlier and I feel like they all want to choke Lindsey Thiry. Man is she irritating.

Yeah that makes more sense! I couldn’t think of a good comparison. I bet he’d be dominate as fuck and make our run gane beast asf!

Good pick for the Jets give Wilson a solid weapon. They have some decent WR didn't think they'd go this route but I like the pick.

Figured the Jets may take a corner there but nice job by them going value. So far so good for the new regime.

Curious to trade up for that. Guess they want a big run game if they're settling for Teddy at QB.
