Drake is a good RB but the Gruden/Mayock “Brain-Trust” drafted Josh Jacobs in the first round to be a workhorse back; and he’s been very good.

Just not sure what is the Raiders’ plan ... or whether they even have a plan.
Starting to look like Gruden wants to be fired so he can enjoy all those fat paychecks in Cancun.

When Gruden and Mayock drafted Clelin Ferrell fourth overall in 2019, I thought ... Are they smarter than everyone? OR ... Do they just think they’re smarter than everyone?

I really liked Ferrell coming out but not a top-10-pick. The Raiders could ... probably ... have traded down 5-10 picks, gotten a #2 or #3 and been certain to still get Ferrell.

Disappointment to the tune of 22 TDs last three seasons. Just sayin.
And yet each team is willing to let him go and the fans aren't very sad either. He can score TD's we all know that but he can also single handedly kill more drives each game than he can help and he does with bad penalties or drops of easy passes. So much potential and just can't stop being bad at the wrong times.

I always felt that Mayock thought he was smarter than everyone else. Maybe you have to feel that way to be a GM, I don’t know, but it’s saying something when the NFL Network’s chief draft guru is being out GM’d by a player who was not a front office guy in John Lynch.

If the Raiders have a plan it’s not apparent to me. I’ve always felt that Gruden was overrated and it’s been his M.O. to put the blame on the players. I thought they were on a good course until now. Maybe the desperation of trying to win a division lead by the Chiefs and Mahomes has them feeling desperate.

They are another team I felt would be heavy into the DeSeam Watson trade talks. They have a decent QB to throw into the offer.

No pretty sure he was a Fisher guy left I think 2 years before McVay. Even his boy Fisher didn't keep him around.

But at least he can fumble as he is about to cross the goal line.
