If that's the case I'd hope Brycen Hopkins would be used for that who is more of a receiver but probably less of a blocker than Everett was. But he's kind of been a forgotten man since we drafted him so not sure what is going on there.

From what I see he was good in 2019 and hurt a lot last year but came back and was bad though the whole secondary was since they had no pass rush at all. He was due his 5th year option tomorrow which was like 10 million guaranteed so this was for money. Guessing they couldn't agree on terms which led to this and leads me to think he'll be too expensive.

So perfectly Bears. There are a few pro sports organizations I feel bad for, but seeing their fans freak never fails to make me laugh. The Bears are one of them.
