wish we could have kept Everett..we never fully capitalized on his talent and I wanted to see him with Stafford...but again Hopkins and Blanton have a lot of talent.

Give Stafford time and he can do the same. The difference is that Stafford can do it with less time. Goff is not more accurate than Stafford. Goffsdeep balls were shit the last two years. Meanwhile Stafford is zipping them in with guys hanging on him.

I won't say anything about Goff on this but Staffords deep ball is definitely a winner. It's his 10 to 20 range that he is not as accurate as other QBs. I have watched his games and he misses or is too aggressive on his 10 to 20 yard range. Of course with McVay - maybe his accuracy jumps up quite a bit on the 10 to 20 yard range.

I am hoping for that.

Interesting that the 9ers targeted Ford. Signing him this quickly and all insinuates that. I would have had them looking at some other guys but they definitely boosted their rotation for more of a Rams-like approach with fresh edge types.

Agree. Historically, the Rams just haven't shown such an interest at the Center position. I still don't want to see Blythe returning, so back to the draft table ...

I think Staley will be a fine head coach. But they may need a couple offseasons to get all the pieces together. Being good enough to get into the playoffs is one thing but it's another entirely to be a real contender.

Yeah I look at them like the Rams in 2017. Good young team but gonna get in and get eliminated by the savvy rosters. I do agree though that down the road they're gonna be something. And I have the highest respect for Staley.
