Does anyone know if we tendered Darius Williams yet? I haven't seen anywhere and I know we must be extremely close to the deadline or already passed it.

It hasn't passed and no just like all the other moves we know are coming they haven't been announced by the team yet.

I believe you can tender a restricted free agent right up to the start of the League Year which I think is March 17th.

I’m guessing that a team has to be under the cap to make a tender offer. Just like Snead said to franchise a player a team has to be under the cap

Ok so not saying I have any info or how the hell it would work with the CAP (yes I know, more dead cap) or that I'm advocating for it, but simply asking what you all think. I hear there are multiple teams interested in Orlando Brown. Would you be ok with the Rams not bringing back Whitworth back to target a trade for Orlando Brown as our future LT? Just throwing it out there since Big Whit is obviously much closer to the end of his career and also throwing random thoughts out there for a lil off-season shit shooting lol. I'm all for keeping Big Whit by the way.

If asked, I think Whit might be one of the few players willing to take a salary cut to stay on. I really like this guy and hope McSnead can find a future position for him as an offensive line assistant coach. If the Rams are serious about being 'all-in' for a deep play-off run, they keep Whit, sign a quality free agent Center, and re-sign Floyd. I'd like to see Whitworth wearing the Super Bowl ring he wins as a Ram in 2021, ... that and later a Hall of Fame Gold Jacket as a former Ram. jmo.

I don't know if we have the capital to get him. But I wouldn't be against it.

No there are so many options out there and better ones. I was seeing to accquire him but I think it ran it's course. I cannot blame him for chasing the money but business is business. Hard pass.

Sure if the money is right, but i'd prefer re-signing Floyd, but again, if the money is right.
I bet they'd make a b line for him. Wouldn't cost a comp pick because he was cut and he's already showed to thrive next to Donald.

Yea like I said hard pass. There are a lot of options out there a lot. I guess we will have to wait what the rams are doing when they announce moves. I agree though I'd take Floyd but I'm sure we are going the comp pick route but all the cut dudes are still plentiful.

If we didn't have Whitworhts contract we could definitely afford him. I didn't think there was a chance Whit wouldn't be starting for us, but with all the young talent available I don't see how we can't try to make a move.
