I’m less pissed off and infuriated seeing how everyone else is passing on Baun, Jones and the OCs. Or maybe it’s the alcohol setting in

For those who don't like the picks I suggest you simply watch their game vids. These are two very good and underrated players. I've watched film on both and I'm very impressed. I never thought Jefferson or Akers would drop to the Rams. This is what I meant when I posted that the Rams were well situated with their picks to get quality players, especially in the second round. Snead might have to move a bit in the third round but that depends upon how the draft develops. Guys like Okwara might drop to them in the same way Rapp did. You can't go simply by the media ratings. Rapp dropped simply because of his poor 40 time but anyone who really studied him could see he plays much faster than his timed speed. Why? Because he reads plays so well and quickly, that's why.

If Jefferson does become another Kupp what will people think then. Watch his game film and you will see why the Rams took him. With Akers it was a perfect scheme fit if they change to the running attack in the way I think they are planning. He's better as a receiver out of the backfield than Dobbins and IMO that was a huge difference to Snead. Akers is more well rounded in his abilities is some ways.

Must be some stuff we're not privy to. Or the teams just know better than we do I mean they can be correct sometimes right? :D

We could still get the guys we need at 84 and 104, what do we know.
Every year fans complain about the team because they don't pick the guys that are rated on the websites.
People act like the teams don't know what that doing because they don't pick the players joe blow on the
computer is telling them they are the next best thing.
The truth is actually the opposite, the joe blows should be judged on who is actually drafted by the teams who
employee a team of scouts that work year round judging players.

One other thing tonight... Seems like teams are getting better at prioritizing route running in wideouts eh? Maybe all these years of route technicians in later rounds outperforming the physical freaks from the top of the draft is starting to get the attention of GMs?

I'm not sure I get the Akers pick. Isn't he a lot like Darryl Henderson - same type of runner, etc? I was figuring the Rams would go for more of a pile driving pounder in 3rd or 4th round.
Am I wrong here?

Doesn't Akers have the most yards after contact in the Nation? That detail was posted earlier.

A good starting C will be there for us. No way Cushenberry, Hennesey, and Biadasz all go in the next 10 picks.

Especially with an accurate thrower like Goff, who relies on precision routes. Goff and Jefferson should be a great match for years to come.

With Okwara off the board then perhaps Jonathan Greenard this round. He's got a really nice first step and looks capable of providing a strong edge as well as pass rush. Good length for the position. He's an edge that could fit nicely in the Ram's scheme.
