Wow, this story is intense. Aaron Hernandez level.

Honestly not Aaron Hernandez level. Hernandez purposely targeted at least three innocent people who angered him and killed them himself. Even if Johnson did hire a gang member to kill two people, they were other gang members who had killed his friend in a drive-by shooting. And he hasn't been charged with a crime at the moment.

Chris is from a part of Orlando called Pine Hills.

Orlando Locals simply call it Crime Hills.

When Chris was in HS.... he was in a program that bused him across the city to attend the HS that my sons attended. He graduated before my oldest starting HS... but Chris used to come make visits to the school in later years and visit the football team.

I hope my son @Ramrasta will share with us what Chris' message to the team was. My son was on the team... it's pretty funny.

Well not literally. But it would be BAD if all of this is true. Hiring hit men and funding narcotics for a gang operation is up there.

I wish him the best and hope it's not true.

Yes, it would be bad, and yes, it would be murder, and yes, he would definitely go to jail for it. But I can understand why he did the former - if, of course, it's true, which I hope it isn't.

Chris Johnson is a legend at my old High School. He held an endless list of track records and was the all-time leading rusher for the school. His jersey is retired and is still hung up in the gym.

All that said, he was from a rough part of town with a lot of gang activity. His little brother was the running back for my team so he volunteered to give a speech to the team and it was the kind of thing that makes you wonder how he graduated high school. Not exactly the best motivator and very difficult to follow what he was trying to say through his gold grill.

Amazing athletic ability but not intelligent enough to keep himself in check. It would not surprise me if this is true because I know he still has several connections over in Pine Hills.

You should probably read the whole story at the link. It's worth a read.

NFL star Earl Thomas is lucky to be alive after cops say his wife held a loaded gun less than a foot from his head ... after she allegedly caught him cheating with another woman.

It's all spelled out in court documents obtained by TMZ Sports ... detailing a violent April 13 altercation involving the Baltimore Ravens player, Nina Thomas and several other people.

The Austin Police Dept. responded to a home in the Austin, Texas area at 3:41 AM after getting a call about a disturbance.

When cops arrived, they say "we observed that a black female wearing an orange sweater with a knife in her hand, later identified as Nina Thomas, was chasing a shirtless black male, later identified as Earl Thomas, with a pistol in his hand around a vehicle."

Thomas and his brother are fucking idiots. Especially Earl Thomas; he has three kids with his wife, why the fuck do you cheat on her? He could've been blown away, and would've been if it was like Steve McNair's situation. He's lucky that his wife only had one bullet in the chamber that she had forgotten about and that she wasn't intending to kill him. She and Seth Thomas' wife were just going to confront them in the act.

I'm a little torn here. On one hand I feel sorry for those involved and am wondering why Dunbar and Baker felt they had to do this. You do hope that mental illness is not a factor as I don't wish that on anyone.

On the other hand, I'm elated that this will in someway have a negative effect on the Shithawks. I'm so conflicted.

He was one of the higher ranked corners in the league. Definitely leaves a hole in their secondary. To go along with their not great defensive line.
