It does seem like a lot of injuries. Rams seem to have a very good training staff. Knock on wood for the Rams.

I can think of two compound fractures off the top of my head. Joe Theisman, and today's backup for Washington, Alex Smith. Then possible another today in Vita He's.

iirc Theisman had bone protruding through the skin.

Those were both legs not at joints.

I am talking about a compound fracture of an ankle. Not the fibula or tibia.

Two different types of breaks.

All I saw was Dak broke his tibia and fibula and has a dislocated ankle.

During the game against Washington the announcer said Alex Smith has 17 surgeries. So I’m guessing it involved the ankle or ligaments.

I know a guy who completely rolled his ankle. The side of his heal touched his shin. Henever had surgery but to this day his ankle goes out on him.

Part of the problem though with Smith too was an infection developed which if not treated could be worse than the actual breaks and ligament damage. It sounds like so far they've avoided that per the doctors on Dak but it's too early to tell for sure.

Well time for Rapp to step up in the absence of our baller Fuller. We can’t afford to be deer in the headlights in that backfield. We have to adapt and work with what we got.

Alex Smith had a serious flesh eating bacteria destroy muscle and skin tissue after the break

Rivera is Jeff Fisher 2.0 w/ better assistants.
Rivera is a very capable defensive coach, but think he made a big mistake by letting O'Connell walk. He was the play caller and quarterback whisperer for Haskins second half of last year when they finally started looking ok on offense.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
He's eligible to return after 3 weeks. Sucks to lose him for a bit, but hopefully he'll be healthy for the Superbowl run....
