I think the RFA’s get tendered with a round grade and if a teams decides they want them they have to give that previous team that pick. I don’t ever remember this happening before.
It happens occasionally. But I think the question was what if a team chooses not to tender a new contract to a RFA when their contract expires? For the sake of comp picks, do they count as a free agent, or a cut? I've wondered that myself.
