Also, since Cleveland's draft is over, I might as well post their gains:
Sam Darnold, QB
Bradley Chubb, DE
Mike Hughes, CB
Derrius Guice, RB
James Washington, WR
Trenton Thompson, DT
Allen Lazard, WR
Timon Parris, OT
Tyler Conklin, TE
Jamil Demby, OG
Cleveland needed the upgrades for offense. Granted, two developmental O-linemen (Parris and Demby), a late round tight end (Conklin), and young receivers in Washington and Lazard might not help right away. I don't think that Darnold is going to play right away with Tyrod Taylor on the depth chart. Chubb most certainly will play right away, and he'll form a dominant bookend with Myles Garrett, with Emmanuel Ogbah, Carl Nassib, and Nate Orchard as depth. Hughes is a solid man corner who should excel in Gregg Williams' scheme. Thompson might actually start right away. Guice should form a one-two punch with Duke Johnson.
Overall? A solid draft for Cleveland.
