Brothers are MU is a beast.

If I remember correctly, we've used him two or three times on fake punts and he's gotten us 15-20 yards each time.

And he's a helluva footballer.

Musburger literally gets a hard-on every time he's called an MU game. Calls Brothers name several times.

I think you're talking about Harold Brantley (the defensive tackle who is considered the next Sheldon Richardson).

Brothers is a good prospect for sure.

All depends how Foles works out. Can they resign him if he goes back to his 2013 level. Do they want him back if he plays at his 2014 level.
Or can Keenum be the future?

Next years QB class is about the same.
Rams have to get Longs replacement, going to lose maybe 5 starters to FA. They need to hit it big.

Tennessee Titans: Joey Bosa, DE/DT, Ohio State

    OhioState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Marcus Mariota, QB

Joey Bosa dominated college football this past year and would definitely be a top-five pick in this year's class if he were draft-eligible. He's not, so the Titans would strongly consider him at No. 1 overall, as he could provide a big boost to their porous defense. Unlike Leonard Williams this year, Bosa will likely be viewed as the top consensus prospect in the draft.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Leonard Williams, DE/DT

The Raiders are fine now at left tackle with Donald Penn stationed there at the moment. However, Penn is entering his contract year, and given that he'll turn 33 prior to the 2016 season, Oakland may want to find a long-term blind-side protector.

Laremy Tunsil is expected to be the top tackle available for the 2016 NFL Draft, and he could really help improve Derek Carr's blocking over the next decade.

Cleveland Browns: Cardale Jones, QB, Ohio State

    OhioState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Danny Shelton, NT and D.J. Humphries, OT/G

The Browns may trade up for Marcus Mariota on April 30. If not - they already stupidly rejected a trade in which they'd give up Nos. 12 and 19, as well as their second-round pick - they'll have to find their quarterback of the future next spring; Chris Mortensen reported that Cleveland has "90 percent" given up on a quarterback who rolls $20s in bathrooms. Mike Pettine called the report "90-percent inaccurate," but he was 90-percent lying in order to maintain leverage for Mariota.

Cardale Jones would've been a second-round prospect had he declared for the 2015 NFL Draft. There was a chance he would've gone late in the first via a team trading up, but he probably would've been relegated to the second frame. That will hardly be the case in the 2016 NFL Draft. If Jones starts and continues to thrive, he'll be a top-five selection, and he could potentially go No. 1 overall. He has way too much upside and natural talent, displaying Ben Roethlisberger- or Daunte Culpepper-type ability.

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Arik Armstead, DE/DT

The 49ers miss out on the top three receivers in my 2015 NFL Mock Draft, but given that they're sure to have a much worse record this upcoming season, they might be able to nab Laquon Treadwell, who would be the consensus No. 1 wideout in the class if it weren't for a knee injury he sustained late last year. Still, Treadwell has an entire year to rehab his injury, and if he has a dominant 2015 campaign, he could end up being a top-five selection.

    image: http://walterfootball.com/college/PennState_logo.gif

    PennState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Kevin White, WR

It's been rumored that the Bears could trade Jay Cutler to the Titans for the No. 2 pick. Dream on, Chicago fans. While this could happen - it would require Tennessee to have the most-inept front office of all time - a more likely scenario is to obtain a quarterback who actually cares about winning next spring.

Christian Hackenberg had a rough sophomore campaign, but he has all the talent in the world. He was great in the bowl game, so perhaps that's a sign of things to come. If Hackenberg has a strong 2015 season, he'll be in top-five consideration.

    image: http://walterfootball.com/college/Florida_logo.gif

    Florida_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Amari Cooper, WR

It's not an earth-shattering revelation to say that the Redskins desperately need help in their secondary. Upgrades are needed both at cornerback and safety. Washington won't be able to obtain one at No. 5 overall on April 30, but the team may have better luck in the 2016 NFL Draft. Vernon Hargreaves is the projected top corner in the 2016 class, and he could easily be chosen in the top five.

    image: http://walterfootball.com/college/OhioState_logo.gif

    OhioState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Dante Fowler, DE/OLB

I'm not sure what David Caldwell's analytics say about taking a running back in the first round, but he might believe that Ezekiel Elliott, the top prospect available, would help the offense immeasurably.

Elliott is a first-round prospect despite the fact that the running back position has been devalued. Elliott, who was amazing in Ohio State's championship run, could be a stud back for the Jaguars, who will need to upgrade the position after Toby Gerhart predictably busted.

    image: http://walterfootball.com/college/MichiganState_logo.gif

    MichiganState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Vic Beasley, DE/OLB

Connor Cook is probably the worst-case scenario for the Jets, who will need a quarterback because neither Ryan Fitzpatrick nor Geno Smith will be successful in 2015. The issue is that by signing Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie, New York has effectively taken itself out of contention for Cardale Jones and perhaps even Christian Hackenberg.

    FloridaState_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Brandon Scherff, OT/G

The Giants have a desperate need for a safety, and I've seen some mock drafts push Landen Collins to them at No. 9 overall. That would be a massive reach, so I highly doubt Jerry Reese would pull the trigger. This, meanwhile, makes much more sense. Jalen Ramsey is a legitimate top-10 prospect as the best safety prospect in the 2016 class.

    UCLA_logo.gif

2015 NFL Mock Draft Pick (as of 4/30): Todd Gurley, RB

The Dolphins have just one viable three-down linebacker on the roster in Jelani Jenkins. Koa Misi is a solid, two-down defender, but Miami has to find a third linebacker. If the Dolphins don't accomplish that in the 2015 NFL Draft, they could select someone like Myles Jack in the first round next April.

My thoughts...

Hackenburg is overrated. I've seen him play a lot and he just doesn't impress me.

Cardale Jones...man this guy has the best arm OSU has had in a long time, maybe ever. If he puts together a magical season he will be first pick.

Watch for his WR Mike Thomas. 6'4 and fast. He's going to be a top WR this yr.

Also watch out for OSU WR Marshall. He is the "Percy Harvin" of the offense and does remind me a lot of Harvin. Could also blow up. I think he's a Sophomore though.

Don't need to be an OSU homer to get a Jones stiffy lol.

And Jones actually lost weight from last year and is even faster! Saw the spring game a few weeks ago. It's crazy. Thought he was Braxton or Barrett for a second.

Ronnie Stanley should have come on out this year - I think he would have been the #1 tackle.

I need to see Cardale play a bit more before I anoint him - but what I have seen so far, its hard not to like. Daunte Culpepper in his prime.

Treadwell can ball - but I sure hope we aren't in a position to get him.

We need to be looking at who we can get at 32.

Read the entire post. Doesn't like PSU Hackenburg but loves all of these OSU guys. I was kind of poking fun but still it really does ring of homerism.

However I am still a bit cautious obout the Cardale Jones stiffy. He played in very limited action and didn't beat out either Miller or Barrett to start. It makes me wonder what we really saw. I wont anoint him the number 1 overall like some of you 'giddy school girls' are ready to do after a couple of games.

Ok here's my top five!

OT: John Theus, Georgia. He'll enter the draft as a four-year starter with a ton of experience and plenty of game tape to show how he has improved throughout his career. His versatility makes him a hot commodity as does his football IQ and mean-streak. Polishing up in pass protection in 2015 will be a priority

DE: Joey Bosa, Ohio State.
CB: Vernon Hargreaves III, Florida.
FS: Nickle/CB: Jalen Ramsey, Florida State.
FS: Deon Bush, Miami (Florida).

His limited action was in the three biggest games that OSU had (B10 championship game, Alabama, Oregon). And he produced. And he clearly beat those two out this year. And he's matured from when he first went to Ohio State. I love Hackenberg as well, but I'm not ashamed that I'd be a really giddy school girl if we somehow got Cardale Jones in this draft. Add in Scooby Wright III, and oh my fucking God, we're gonna rule the NFC for years.

Because Urban the dickweed Meyer loves his true dual threat QBs. TeBlow. Miller. Barrett. Jones is much more of a protypical pocket passer who CAN run, but mostly extends plays with his feet. Barrett and Miller run. A lot.

Dual threats are harder to contain in college ball.

Do they want him back if he plays at his 2014 level.
Even at 2014 Foles, we need to re-sign him...if he's close, I'd give him a one more year prove it deal...The same as 2014? Then a 3-5 year contract...why, new system, new o-line...same stuff Sam went through...

I'd look for a ILB or WR depending on where we draft in the first....Maybe a DE. QB or OT if we have a nightmare season...

Even a 14 Foles will be in demand. It's five years good or average Foles. Difference is either 8 million or 15 million per. Unless he gets hurt.
Just a guess but I could see the Rams try to sign him long term before camps over if he's what they want.

He puts up 13 numbers wow. Rams may have to move on.

Based on what I've seen, Jared Goff is the jewel of the 2016 QB Class followed by Cardale Jones. Cardale has massive upside but Goff is that prototypical pocket passer. He reminds me a lot of Sam Bradford after Sam's first year at Oklahoma...skinny kid but insane arm talent and very composed in the pocket.

I also really want to see Carson Wentz. 6'6" 230 with mobility and a strong arm. One of the top FCS players and NFL scouts are apparently very high on him...no surprise. I gotta see where his pocket presence, mechanics, and accuracy are at.

I'm not a fan of Cook. Not poised enough in the pocket or consistent enough with his accuracy for me. Hackenberg has all the physical tools but he needs to progress and show consistency in 2015. Although, Franklin's system and his supporting cast did him no favors.

Kiel is a good talent but he doesn't have the physical talent of the other top guys and needs to stay healthy. But I want to see how he progresses this year. Physical talent is overrated and he showed a lot of positive traits last year which was his first as a starter.

Brissett has a long ways to go for me. Very Brett Hundley like...project QB at this point.

A couple other names worth mentioning:
Trevone Boykin QB TCU - Very RGIII like imo with his skill-set but that's not a bad thing (good arm and great mobility but he still chooses to hang in the pocket). I'd need to know where his intelligence and character are at to feel comfortable with him but definitely an intriguing prospect. Hate that he's coming from an Air Raid offense, though.

Cody Kessler QB USC - His instincts and mechanics are sound but I see him as more of an overachiever and a college QB. Think he'll make a great backup but not sure he has the talent to be a long time NFL starter. A lot of things in common with Garrett Grayson but Grayson was more physically talented and had better poise under pressure imo.

Jeremy Johnson QB Auburn - Will be his first year as a full time starter but he's got Cardale Jones like talent and did play in 2014 and 2013. He's showed great things thus far when he's played. 6'5" 240 with mobility and a very strong arm. We'll see how he does as the full time starter but flashed the potential to be a top 10 pick in 2014 when he played. If he lives up to his potential and continues to play well, he could push Cardale and Goff to be the top QB selected.

A couple smaller school guys worth keeping an eye on are Paxton Lynch from Memphis and Brandon Doughty from Western Kentucky. Haven't seen much of either yet, though. Zach Terrell from Western Michigan is another.

Brad Kaaya from Miami is also a name to watch but he's not eligible next year. He'll be a top prospect in 2017, though. J.T. Barrett will also likely be a top prospect in 2017 assuming that Cardale starts in 2015. Same with Deshaun Watson from Clemson in 2017.

Another guy that I felt showed some flashes of good things is Patrick Towles from Kentucky but I doubt he enters the draft early in 2016.

There are also some people very high on Nate Sudfeld from Indiana and Wes Lunt from Illinois also has fans because both are big, prototypical pocket passing types.

Justin Holman and Will Gardner are both big guys with guns but they need to show more consistency.

Everett Golson is a small guy with an arm but he, too, needs to show more consistency.

Dak Prescott and Kevin Hogan haven't been mentioned yet because I'm not high on either.
