Are there? Six months ago Stafford was a decent aging QB on a shitty team who'd never done anything of not now he's the second coming. And if you dare to question moves that McVay and Snead make you're shit on. Sounds like a great time to me until the draft /s
c'mon now.... "And if you dare to question moves that McVay and Snead make you're shit on"
Really? I've seen plenty of folks who question it and nothing comes of it.
Now, there are posts where Armageddon is pronounced with a certainty that is awesome to behold.
These posts assert with the assurance of a time traveler who understands alternate timelines that this trade spells disaster, proves McVay and Snead are the frauds some folks have thought all along (but never said so until this trade) and that WOE UNTO THOSE WHO THINK OTHERWISE!!!
C'mon...
No one is shitting on the "I'm not sure this is gonna work out" posts or the "the math doesn't add up to me" posts. Disagree? sure, see that all the time about just about every topic.
But the hyperbole... no one's a victim here. No one knows the future, so all of us are coming at this with ZERO knowledge about how this will work out. The best anyone has including McVay and Snead is an educated guess with no control over the randomness of the universe.
There are the extremes... Stafford leads the Rams into a Cowboys like dynasty of 3 Super Bowl wins in 4 seasons all the way to Stafford relives Trent Green's demise and we find out Wolford is no Warner.
I dunno and no one else does, either. Some are rooting for Stafford to succeed and some are more concerned with being right (I'm familiar with the accusation as it was levied against me no matter how dispassionate I was during the 2016 preseason).
Such is the way of Rams fans and Rams QBs, it seems.
