Yes, the ref that called the taunting couldn't have heard anything. He was behind Ramsey and the ball carrier wasn't even looking. Ramsey just needs to stop looking at guys. The refs call shit they don't even see.

There was also a Defensive Holding call on the play where Lawrence threw the ball away before getting killed at the goal line that gave them a 1st down. There was absolutely zero holding when you look at the replay... NONE. And the player they gave it to was on the opposite side of the endzone only acting as a decoy on the play. Complete BS.

3. Seriously, though... those Rams fans who predicted a loss (unironically, and not as some sort of reverse psychology approach)... seriously? Time to look in the mirror.
I cheer my heart out for this team. And I'm one of the fans that predicted a loss in the score thread (probably more in the latter of your 2 categories--a bit of reverse psychology--I wouldn't have bet the farm or even my kids PS5 on it).

But in the end, it's the 11 men out on that field that have the power to overcome adversity. Nothing I could do or say was gonna help them. They were winless in November - - they needed to reach down deep inside and test their mettle. Hell, they needed to find their mettle. All I knew was that until they showed me they could get up after getting knocked down -- I needed to curb my expectations for my own health and safety.

I actually didn't mind Mark Sanchez' commentating in this game. This was a "get right" game. Maybe a "get right" game for everyone - fans, players, and coaches.

Like other posters have mentioned, I always like this weekly topic. Thanks OP.

I’d like to respond and add a few more:
Gaines has been outstanding in the absence of SJD. He draws at least one holding call a game. Great motor.

Yes, there is a Center controversy. It’s been going on for over a decade. Spend a legitimate pick on one.

Jefferson is still dropping too many key passes for my tastes. He’s talented, yes, consistent, no. We need him for this stretch run.

Meanwhile, Kupp put on a clinic. I especially liked his “slow play” running that TD route. The guy is as smart as he is talented. Not a bad blocker either. He’s just awesome in all phases, really.

Stafford gets rolling from time to time and that’s what we needed, but Kupp, Higbee, and Woods (when he was playing) have made some pretty good catches to bail him out too.

Our defense is obviously built to play with a lead. It’s night and day. The Rams simply cannot afford to get off to such slow starts.

STs still suck...and then the ST play of the year downing that punt. Excellent effort.

And finally, WHEW! We needed this.

One thing that I have seen posted quite a bit is "yeah but this was just the Jags".

Yes the Jags have a horrible offense but their defense is quite good especially on the front end. They are very strong against the run and not that bad against the pass.

The Bills could not run against them so for us to go over 100 yards against them averaging 5 yards a carry is quite good.

In addition, Josh Allen had absolutely no time against the Jags that game and Stafford had quite a bit especially with the play action passes.

I just hope McVay keeps this up with the offense with the Jumbo runs and the play action passes against the Cardinals.

Predict is a strong word, but still raging from the niners loss I said I would be shocked if we won another game. I'm incredibly happy that we won. I didn't think McVay had it in him to change things up like that. I couldn't be more glad to be wrong about that. Sorry to everyone on the board for being a Negative Nancy.

I really hope the rams were playing possum lol rope a dope and now go jumbo and step on all the opposition!!! Lol

Any how just a quick mention never want to see anyone get injured but we have had our own share so sometimes in the NFL things even out. My point is when we play the ravens they will basically have no cornerbacks as Marlon Humphrey is out for the season and obviously no peters and from what I hear Jimmy Smith is awful and oft injured.

That brings me to the Vikings the rams may just face them without Thielen. High ankle sprain looked pretty ugh and he seemed like he was the in a lot of pain. We lost Bobby Trees crap happens I guess. So maybe our defense can start gaining confidence and play up to snuff and the offense does the same finding its grove from here as on out.

Lastly what would make this season besides a Superbowl victory obviously would be to not only beat the whiners but I want a hit put on Dumbo Samuel same as the hit T. Lewis put on Gronk!!!!

Cheers bro!!! It's not negative nancy man. Most of us in here are crazy die hard rams fans. We talk about how days weeks months are ruined, how we like feel physically ill when they lose etc. So sometimes we say shit because we are just that passionate. Sometimes we engage and get angry typically we work crap out but in the heat of what was going down especially recently we all say dumb negative stuff at some point. We beat the Jags we may not be out of the woods just yet but we won so I will have a good week lol. I'm sure most of us are guilty of that at some point. Even the most positive posters go dark phoenix sometimes lol. To me it's all good brother. I look at it as the dude is pissed and I certainly can empathize. I get up I get down lol. We are Ramily!!!!

After that shot he took on the roughing penalty and had to leave the game for a play, he seemed to have woke up. His passes were more accurate. He was more decisive. Just seemed like he got into a nice rhythm.
I think the knocks on his early play were a bit overdone too. He had a great no-look pass dropped by Skow that probably cost us 4 points on that early drive. And the overthrow to OBJ was on 9 but OBJ has had a tendency to hitch in his footwork when he sees the ball coming his way and if he had kept running feet on the deck instead that might have been a catchable ball. Hard to say but he does have to work on that hitch and finish his routes IMO.

But to my eye Stafford played a hell of a game.

Also on defense both Jones and Gaines played their asses off.

Jones was all over the field. The guy is also starting to feel comfortable in the scheme and you see it with him aggressively filling and making some great plays. My favorite play was his stuff of Shenault, he covered a good 8 yards to make that stop behind the LOS. We are starting to see what this guy is capable of IMO.

And Gaines has always been stout and hard to move but he's been doing shit you saw him do at Washington like disengaging and closing on ball carriers. The guy is playing at a pretty high level right now for us on the nose.

Same.

Man, I'd start feeling queasy by Thursday and it wouldn't hardly end until the next morning. Wasn't until the bye week I slept on the night of a game and then didn't sleep after the GB game, either.

It's never been this way.

I guess I built up the team more than was healthy.

One thing... that PS5 may be more valuable than your farm... have you seen what they're going for on Ebay???

Saw one for NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! It's insane. All you need is twitter and patience. I got mine after around a month of really trying...maybe less.

After the GB loss I felt almost "at ease". In a wierd way. Like, I was getting so upset and pissed due to the all in, and the moves, the hype, all of it, and the losses killed me. But after the GB loss I was like eh, it's just a game and I'm not the one getting paid to play, coach or be part of the team. I'm just going go enjoy the games and see what happens.

Yep. My love for the team hasn't diminished, but when I held my granddaughter... it just all changed in an instant.

Been fighting some kind of nausea for more than a month and this cold for over a week (apparently at the VA, they said Rhinovirus is running them RAGGED) so I've stayed away from everyone, especially my lil buddy.

I swear in a few days when I'm finally over this, I'm gonna grab my lil grand baby and play with her until my arms fall off... well, my back'll probably give out long before then, but I'll put up a heckuva fight!

I've been battling a sinus virus for about 2 weeks now. Finally feeling better. Been taking Theraflu like crazy, cough drops and vitamin C pills. Keeps flaring up!

Slap a Salonpas Pad before you throw your back out! Hopefully you get to spend time with the grand baby sooner than later!

I hope they continue to start Gaines and just use SJD as a back-up when he gets back

SJD is a decent player but I really like Gaines right now

I don't know where I sit on that to be honest. I have to think on that.

I also have been impressed by SJD development.

But, good problem to have maybe.
