See my post above. Not here to start an argument but the Defense gave up 21 in two quarters. That's not complimentary football by any means.

3 points in the second half is FAR greater than what anyone could expect - or in other words, that's not even complimentary football in the other direction, it's beyond that. It's flat out dominant.

So for as much as we can be upset about the 21 in the first half - 24 for the game is more impressive against that offense than 21 in a half is disappointing.

Really curious to see where Kupp is physically next season.

Kupps high school and college careers, were pretty much self-made by a very well motivated and determined kid. We could all wish to have kids s focused as him. In 2021, Kupp worked out for a significant part of the off-season, with 2 sports physical conditioning companies in the Portland OR area.

In my opinion - Kupp will not quit, until he hangs it all up. At least, I hope that is the case. So - take a vacation Cooper - and we'll see ya back at the gym!

Goff may have beat his old team, but he beat his old team in a rebuild year. Come back to me when he beats a Rams team that's predicted to win the super bowl, and not 3 games the entire season.

Goof beat his old teams for no other reason than his old coach wouldn't run the 3rd best running back run the ball deep in the red zone.
McVay is a great coach but he needs a "don't get pass happy in the red zone button"!!!

4. Second... Red Zone offense failures were the difference. Sean McVay needs to go back to the drawing board and come up with some new twists for those 10 yard field scenarios. Can't just rely on Cooper Kupp to get open every time.
Obvious offseason prioritues
1. Keep the OL deep and strong
2. Find some serious Edge pressure
3. improve CB play

5. Yes, there was a very bad non-call on the Rams' final drive. Because of the situation (the Rams should have had a first down inside the Lions' 30), it will be amplified. We shouldn't have needed that call, though, so I'll only put so much blame there.

The quality of officiating affects the outcome of every game exactly as much as it does. It doesn't need to be amplified nor discounted.

The defence didn't turn up until half time and there were several dubious decisions from the zebras.

To blame it on just one thing is over-simplistic.

If we finished just 1 of the 3 trips with a TD, we would not have been in a position to need the refs to be unbiased. The D fixed the poor tackling late in the 1st half and kept the game close.

1. Eagles join Cowboys and Browns as teams looking at a loooong offseason.

2. Rams’ first round draft pick locked in at the No. 19 slot (pending the ever possible Snead wheeling and dealing).

3. Baker Mayfield owes the Rams a thank you note (and maybe a nice fruit basket) for resurrecting his career.

Guys like Jonah Williams, Rozeboom, and Hoecht among others, need to be replaced with with better athletes and more physical players.

Would agree with all three --- Williams though better than most think. Would much rather have an upgrade


here is what he does well

He's inside the T in a 4i tech, and rips to the outside to contain ... it's a slant call. He, the NT and other DT go to their right. Rather than the B-Gap he takes the C-gap.

This is not easy to do --- cross a tackle's face and make a play.

Sean allows himself to get too one dimensional at times. Kyren Williams was the difference maker in our playoff run, but tonight just 13 touches????? Why make Matt throw one haymaker after another when his RB was averaging 4.7 yards per carry. Would have been nice to eat clock in the first half on long drives while working the body. Whoever suckered us out of running is partly why we lost. KW has a nose for the goal line and great vision…but to Chuck one fade after another looked anemic. I think Sean limited Gurley in his prime to 13 runs too in the first playoff game against the Falcons.

may be McVay will never fix his issues. needs a good 2nd at the helm.
