I’m still buzzing after this win! What are the talking heads going to talk about - how Brady almost won a comeback. I was screaming at the TV that we needed to win in Regulation and then Stafford to Kupp twice! Insane!

Most of the mistakes were physical mishaps by players but McVay and staff also need to get the Rams to play 60 minutes. Not 30 or 45.

I hear what you are saying but IMHO, our Rams did play for 60 minutes! On both sides of the ball including ST's! The turnovers were not part of the game plan.

I think the way this game played out may have been just what the doctor ordered for the Rams going into next week's game against you know who.

1) We got a lot of mistakes out of our way and still won.
2) Akers will be focusing on ball security all next week. Hopefully these fumbles are out of his system now.
3) After giving up such a big lead, and knowing we did the same against our hated rivals last time, maybe the coaches and players keep up the intensity all through the second half instead of letting up like they did last time.
4) After completely losing the momentum, Stafford and Kupp made two huge plays to set up Gay for the winning kick. That's the kind of stuff that makes people a team believe that they can turn it around even when things don't go their way.
5) In general, this team was tested hard today, mostly due to their own mistakes, but they showed resilience, mental toughness, and overcame them to win.
6) As one of the items in the OP stated, we won't be overconfident going into the game. But having survived this one, we will be confident.

Let's fucking go.

For Akers first fumble, was pretty clear to me that it was a fumble.

So....Rams this year, Bucs last year. Pretty crazy stuff:

First year for new QBs

11-5, 12-5

Superbowl to be played in home stadium if we can get there

Defeated the reigning champs in the playoffs (Bucs beat Chiefs, we beat Bucs)

Need to beat the team who dominated you both times in the regular season to advance (Saints for the Bucs, Niners for us)

Akers officially knocked off the rust. He's going to be ready to go!
Yea. Fumbles were my biggest worry with Cam cause he was rusty. I've seen it many times before. We got past them. Now he will have a great game against the whinners.

My problem is playing for the field goal instead of settling for a field goal after you tried to get a TD.

Here’s me (with my wife of almost 29 years), dressed for battle before the game.

Yeah...Cam knows his fumbles were huge. He was dejected about it...even with the win.

You best know SF is coming after the ball when he touches it next week...SO HE BEST BE FOCUSED ON HOLDING ONTO THE BALL ALL WEEK!

My guess is that it was legit blood from the hit - but that it happened because he had his mouth open when he got hit in the chest and he bit down on his own lip. Legit pain and blood, but not because of a dirty hit.
