7. The defense also was a bit uneven, but overall, you have to like the night they put together, holding the Seahawks to 354 yards, 5.9 yards per play, and forcing two turnovers. They were lights out in the 3rd quarter when the Rams turned the game around.
Imagine if they woulda forced a 3 and out when Geno Smith came in it woulda looked a lot worse for the seahags. Their offense didn't look so hot against the 49ers either.

Heard on the radio prior to the game that Russel Wilson was 9-1 on Thursday night games. 9-2 now but still impressive.

They were also 7-0 in those god awful green uniforms, and winners of 8 straight TNF games

Yeah that really was a heads up play... dude adjusted and closed on it when it really didn’t look like he could make it.

I remember one of them (wish I did not).

That awful loss on Thursday night two years ago when Zuerlein missed a 44-yard-FGA (by less than a foot) in the final seconds, and the Rams lost 30-29.

Started the post-Super-Bowl-season 3-0 but then gave-up 55 points to the Bucs, and four days later went to Seattle. Rams lost ten days later to the Niners and were 3-3. Could not win more than two-in-a-row after that and finished 9-7; and out of the playoffs.

Ugg. My son and I were at that game. I had no doubt we'd win, after we moved down the field on that last drive. So did the fans. When he missed, the place was completely stunned. Walking back to the car, there was no giddy ribbing from the Sea-skank fans, just a shocked quiet that they couldn't believe they won.

Very weird. I too will never forget that game. Even the 12s from my work didn't give me sh*t...

I just picked a huge booger this morning, and it was the EXACT color of the seahawks uniform.
If you're picking highlighter green boogers from your snout, please get to the emergency room!

The actual color of their uniforms should now be referred to as booger green. I used to call it vomit green, and suicide blue on their uniforms.

Can we talk about how well our O Line has protected Stafford and created nice run lanes for our two running backs!!

If we get this defense shaped up, still not a fan of the off coverage when we have man corners and use T Burgess in the defensive scheme I think we will be in great shape.

Let's win the next three hopefully improve to 7-1 and get ready to battle the rest of the NFC West!!

Speaking of Burgess.. did anyone else see Rapp start toward the line of scrimmage last night only to have the Seahawk receiver outrun him? That was piss-poor awareness, IMO, and makes me believe Rapp should not be in coverage. And Fuller hasn't been all that great this year either. I believe the Rams need a true "center-fielder" safety, and I wonder if Burgess can be that guy. WTH... he was drafted in the third round.. he has to have some talent and/or ability!

LA Rams Taylor Rapp took Darious Williams out of the game.

Highlights, Observations & Analysis From Rams’ Week 5 Win Over Seahawks

AUTHOR

Daniel Starkand

"Someone else who has gotten picked on is safety Taylor Rapp. So it will be interesting to see what Raheem Morris schemes up to make up for those deficiencies in the secondary. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them play more zone moving forward, and perhaps dial up some pressure to get to the quarterback.

Something else I would like to see is Terrell Burgess get some playing time in Rapp’s spot. Burgess impressed in his rookie season before going down with a season-ended injury but has hardly seen the field this year. Let’s see what he’s got!"

Rams defeat Seahawks: Position grades for the roster in Week 5’s win

How did Matthew Stafford, Robert Woods, Aaron Donald and company grade against Seattle on Thursday?

By Blane Dydasco

SAFETIES

"Jordan Fuller did not have a noticeable impact on this game one way or another but recorded three tackles. Taylor Rapp struggled. He continues to show up as the man missing tackles, taking bad angles, getting beat in man coverage, and showing up late in zone or combo assignments.

On a Seattle touchdown to Metcalf he had the high assignment on a combo with Jalen Ramsey and similar to last week against the Cardinals, Rapp is a step too late and failing to make an effective impact when he does show up. The defense gave up five pass completions over 20 yards. Nick Scott got a game sealing interception which was a fantastic heads up play when the game was on the line."

Jamir Jones was an OLB on the Steelers who had a very good preseason. Right after Hollins was injured the Steelers tried to sneak him onto their practice squad. Snead claimed him.
Thanks, I wasn’t watching and I read he blocked a punk and I was afraid it was Hekker who got blocked.

Don’t like the headline. Rap was trying to avoid the pile. If DWill hadn’t tripped on the turf monster he wouldn’t have been there. Freak play.
