@flv I miss place a bet! I wanted to play Rams minus 2 1/2 for 10,000 and accidently played Chargers + 2 1/2 for 10,000! Is there any way you can Change this for me!

Limits are NOT an absolute limit. If anyone wants to bet more then contact me and i'll open temporarily raise the limits for them. Limits are there because Sportsbooks aren't monitored 24 hours a day. Prices are often out of step with the latest events. Limits are there to keep all the Sportsbooks open but balanced so no-one becomes ROD's richest member because they were able to take advantage of a price typo or breaking news.

I also try to keep limits in line with its importance within ROD. A preseason game is less important then a regular season game. An NFL game is more relevant than a UFC fight or a motor race. ROD$ are only fun if they aren't easy to get. If you could make tens of millions on any event members would only look for big errors on instant events and no-on would tie ROD$ up in NFL 'futures'. Big wins shouldn't be easy.

Flv I would never want to take advantage of a typo in making a bet! But I don't see a problem in taking advantage of Breaking News, say I hear a player is out and I think it will effect the out-come of a game. If I can still get a bet down I'm going to do it! What's wrong with that!?! I try to pay attention to every angle when placing a bet, I like to Win! It's the American Way!(y):D

I fully expect members to take advantage of that information. It goes with the turf. Equally, we set limits on unmonitored events so someone who plays by a lower standard doesn't beat you with 1 unfair result. This game has win, handicap, and total limits of $15K, $10K, and $5K. If there's an error no-one can unfairly gain more than $30K on you. - reason below.

I could be away for a few days. In that time a game could be brought forward 4 hours by weather. With no limits someone else could wager everything on a money line or handicap line AFTER the game because I wouldn't have changed the start time. There are no bet times so we'd pay. That member could unfairly gain $1M and screw you out of the ROD title. You'd be pissed.

I got you! I can't see anyone around here taking advantage like that! I know I never would!! But your right, I would be pissed if it happened! ( I doubt your hypothetical would ever happen, as far as a weather push-back goes!)

Hmmmm.. I'm not looking to get rich off this game.. lolol I'm confused.. Sorry. I usually put a minimum on game and think about it some more. Most sportsbooks will let you make multiple wagers? :) I bet a bare minimum and don't get me being locked out for wager limits is all. No biggie man. This is only ROD $$$. Not like real. :)

I have changed the wager limit from 1 to 2. The system doesn't allow for personal allowances. I can only set a maximum amount and a wager limit. If I allow 4 bets members can only bet 25% of the max on each bet. Regular season limit is normally 2 until Saturday Night then 3 afterwards. Preseason limits are lower so 1 bet until game day has been my M.O.
 
Since no-one else has backed them I can delete the option without it affecting anyone else. If anyone had backed them you'd be stuck. Deleting the option means I have to create a new option out of sequence.
