Let me guess.......back in that magical 2021 season, when they lost 3 in a row to the Titans, Niners and Packers, you threw in the towel, claimed the division was out of reach, a playoff win was out of the question and a SB win would only come out of a unicorn's ass. Prolly doubled down on that last part after you recovered but found out the niners were the NFCG foe. If I'm close, I'll ask, "do you think you felt any better than somebody who didn't fold like a boll and branch sheet?" Because, I enjoyed every second of that season. Even when fans were breaking legs jumping off the wagon and dislocating shoulders climbing back on. This team could win 3 games with me playing safety. :laugh4:
That’s always the low risk approach that certain fans favor. It’s either “yay, the Rams won!” or “See, I was right!” Classic win/win tactic.

Alright you bunch of uncultered swines!

FA, draft, TC, Preseason and cuts have taken place!

What is your best guess for our record for the 2023 season?

Sticking with my 7-10/8-9 prediction from February.

@Seahawks - L 0-1
49ers - L 0-2
@Bengals -L 0-3
@Colts - W 1-3
Eagles - L 1-4
Cardinals- W 2-4
Steelers - L 2-5
@Cowboys W 3-5
@Packers W 4-5
Seahawks L 4-6
@Cardinals W 5-6
Browns W 6-6
@Ravens L 6-7
Commodes W 7-7
Saints L 7-8
@Giants L 7-9
@49ers L 7-10
Only difference between yours and mine is that I have us beating the Saints and losing to the cowboys

Man Bowers Harrison Jr would be amazing but that high up I go after 10-15 years of elite QB play and go with a trade up for Maye/Caleb.

Man that would be great!
I agree - we need one of the 3 top QBs coming out in this draft

I would be happy with any of them

I guess I just don't see the explosive offense that some of you think will show up this season. The defense will give up a lot of points, I think most of us agree on that. Ugh.... If they stay healthy, maybe 7-10???

Hopefully that is a reasonable enough take for those that think you have to predict a Superbowl every year or you're somehow not a "real fan".

I would would argue that predicting a Superbowl every year, regardless of the roster, doesn't make you a real fan........ it makes you a Cowboys fan.

Curious who the third is you’re referring to? Pennix or Nix?

You couldn't be more wrong about that. I never once felt terrible about that team. I knew we had the talent to win it all but just had to play more consistent. This team is devoid of that type of talent. I went to both home playoff games in person cheering my ass off for the Rams (got pics galore to prove that shit) and I actually wanted to play the Whiners cuz I knew we could beat that punk ass team's ass. Pretending to know how I felt about that team tells me you probably should stray from guessing how I feel about something and ask because I have no problem sharing it. To worry about what fans are more optimistic vs not as optimistic is pointless in my eyes because all fans regardless have one thing in common, we want our team to win it all. I was asked a question and I answered. Not apologizing if some, as you seem to be, are slighted in the least by my prediction. I'm always in the fuckin wagon win or lose. You are talking to a guy that still rocked all his Rams gear and repped during the dark years. Kinda shitty take to assume how I am.

Cmon are you guys serious. Take a real look at our defense. We have no run d our olbs are a rookie and a converted dlman. Our #1 cb is a guy who played 5 games last year. There are only 4 starters if u include Fuller with 3 years of experience. The dl is completely revamped.

We have no idea on how the STs will perform. They have a new Coors and every player is new.

I like most assume the offense will be fine. The OL will be better if healthy.

Too many variables on defense this could be a historically bad defense like upwards of 27 - 34 ppg we give up.

Lastly if Stafford goes down Bennett is no way ready he was terrible imo in preseason against vanilla defenses.

I see 2- 5 wins based on a horrible defense.

Back in June, there was this thread:

I wonder how many people have changed their mind since then...

I said in that thread that we would be somewhere from 5-12 to 9-8, given our tough schedule and young team. Having seen how terrible our D looks in preseason (yes, I know McVay doesn't take preseason seriously, but still) I am going for the lower end of the range.

5-12 is my final prediction.

More like Brock Bowers first round, and three Mizzou players (Luther Burden (WR), Kris Abrams-Draine (CB), and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. (CB)) in the next three rounds).
You want Brock Bowers over perhaps the greatest WR to come out since Calvin Johnson.
