Having that” peaceful, easy feeling…”
Just knowing we got this.
How do I know, you ask?
Easy - watched:
Jags Sat nite…
Hags Sun nite…
Queens Mon nite…
Crows tonite…
Tards tomorrow…
Pukes Thu…
And the creme de la creme…
Whiners Fri.
Jags and Hags. Cakewalks
Queens - lots of fuck ups, but prevailed otr.
Crows - even more fuck ups, otr, but victorious.

These two games turned our team/season around. Imo.

There’s just no fucking way LA is losing to Cin, and I don’t care if the stands are 70% orange - doesn’t matter.

This team is primed and peaking.

My favorite thing will be the Super Bowl we play on Sunday. Time is moving so damn slow. On the plus side, I took Monday off from work. So I can either celebrate my ass off or drown my sorrows without having to worry about being hungover at work.

I'm taking it easy on the pregame hype.

I got burned prior to SB 36. That Rams regular season was awesome.... 99 team was the Cinderella team, 2000 was all O and no D, and the 2001 team was just a dominant beast. I gorged on all the pregame hype before SB 36, it felt like we were by far the superior team and I was pretty damn sure we were gonna win it and start a dynasty.

Still haven't recovered from those cheating bastards stealing it away.

Anyway, ever since then I've learned to not go overboard on the SB pregame hype.

I'm quietly confident the Rams are more talented, more experienced, and will be better prepared. OTOH I recognize the insane parity of the NFL.

I'm heading into this one trying to maintain an even keel... as much as I can.

I'm uncomfortably calm. In part, because I believe if we play within ourselves, we'll win. Moreover, under the McSnead regime, I am confident we will be back soon. I don't buy this "all in" garbage. I think McSnead are just too smart for that and will continue to do what is necessary to keep us in contention.
I am just so grateful for having leadership at the top. From Stan down, we are solid. That's what every winning organization in any pro sport team (and private business in general) have in common. Sure, sometimes we see a team overcome the dysfunction (see our Rams from 99-01), but the traditional powers always are strong from the top down.
Sunday will be a great test and tell us a lot. Has Sean learned? How will Morris adjust/adapt? Will we be prepared for significant adjustment from the Bengals D at half (or sooner), will we control the LOS on either/both sides of the ball, etc. But at the end of the day, we are here. Two teams of 32. I am simply grateful for all that has gone into it and am convinced the bar has been set. Snead, McVay, and Kevin are a great trio. There is nothing, imo, to suggest they won't continue our path!

So did the players apparently.

Kurt was talking about winning 5 superbowls in an interview before the game. Some player said we will witness a dynasty tonight when the players walked on the field.

They were far too complacent it seems. Thought they already had the game won.

This is where I am.

Strangely calm.

That will all change by Sunday, though.
this is where I am at also. Very calm but as media week ramps up I'm getting more and more excited

Its just great all-around really. A lot of anticipation for sure. Pretty much all I've watched on TV has been the Rams press conferences ETC. MY hatred for Burrow runs deep so this would be extra special for me, not that it wouldnt anyway.....

Ill be there and I'm trying to not let my mind wander to what seeing the Rams win a Super Bowl will mean. Trying to stay in the moment.

FINISH THE JOB, that's the mantra.

Just ordered 11 Ram Helmet balloons from a place in Glendale. They are the new helmet design. I'll fill em up with helium and have em flying this weekend.

I do enjoy watching super bowl media coverage about our boys, Plus the fact that we're in the super bowl, But I am a big stress case when it comes to our Rams.... I don't think I could take three super bowl losses in a row, So I'm very nervous and have been for a week and a half now. Though I think we should win the game, I just remember the good old phrase "any given Sunday" GOD PLEASE LET US WIN!!!! Horns up Ramily!!

Ahhhh… it feels good. The BIG GAME and we are in it!

What’s been your favorite part of the days leading up to the Super Bowl?
The best thing is that it ends in a football game for the NFL championship with the Rams in it.

I pretty much hate all the hype and BS, and have hated it since the very first "Super" bowl with its ridiculous name and Roman numerals. Also hate the lengthy breaks for advertising, the advertising itself, and having a show at halftime. And the talking heads (with a handful of exceptions.) I recognize these views may appear to some to be un-American.... too bad. Get over it.

But I remember watching Johny Unitas win the first televised NFL championship in 1958 when none of this crap existed and it was just about the game. A really great game in fact.

I will say that watching in 4k on a big screen OLED tv is decisively better than black and white on a tiny screen in awful early NTSC resolution. And I will grudgingly admit that even I can put up with limited doses of hype and BS when the Rams are in the big game. And it will all be ok when the Rams crush the Bengals.
