The city of St. Louis and the state of Missouri are up against an unprecedented lease situation, one that requires the Edward Jones Dome to be among the top 25 percent of NFL stadiums by 2015. On one hand, it has made for an uncomfortable situation for city leaders and fans. On the other, it was the deal that secured the return of pro football to the region after a seven year hiatus.
