... with our offensive line-up without Fisher as his overseer ? It appears Boras may have complete autonomy over his offense these final 3 games. Fassel mentioned in his media introduction that he may not even have time to sit in on the QB meetings with only a few days before the next game. We have had recent success against Seattle, so maybe they stick with what has worked in the past, although there may be no time like the present to try and make his own mark.

Question 2 : Will Gurley get to 1000 yards with 3 games remaining ?

Question 3 : Will Fisher Jr. remain as a DB coach if Williams manages to stick as DC in 2017 ?

1. Did Fisher have much to do in the way of play calling anyways? Boras is basically just Fisher jr in style ain't he?

2. Yes, just needs the SF game.

3. Doubt it.

1. Boras has shown who he is....a frentic play caller that forgets to run the football

2. See 1. But I hope so

3. Neither happens IMO

Maybe, guess we'll know for sure soon enough. I was more about the line-up and whether he makes changes to the OL and gives some of the younger receivers more snaps. Wasn't it only a couple weeks ago Fisher himself said he might change the OL up some ?

Curious to see how this plays out tomorrow. I have a feeling that Boras just is in over his head and outside of the first plays script he is tanked with zero adjusting after that. This season couldn't end fast enough for us to get some real offensive minded people on board.

I'm hoping Gurley gets his 1000+. He needs to average 80 per game these final 3.

The Oline needs to man up and help give Todd his second consecutive 1000+ yard season.

That's a question that may never be answered. Here is a quote from
fisher that touches on it,but then again we still don't truly know
whether it's all fact.Coaches aren't always the most honest of people.

On if he has heated exchanges with offensive coordinator Rob Boras during the games like he mentioned he has with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams

“No, it’s different. Offensive play callers and defensive play callers are completely different. I talk to Rob a lot between series as far as game management is concerned, I make some suggestions here and there. But no, nothing like that. As an offensive play caller, you have to be really focused, so it’s not fair.”

1) I seriously doubt anything will change but it would be kind of hillarious if they come out and Boras calls an amazing game and Goff airs it out for 400 yards. Just completely confuse everyone in the world about wtf has been going on the last year. But not going to happen.

2) he'd have to average 30 yards per game more than he has all year so far. Very unlikely unless he has a break out huge game against someone.

3) If Williams stays i guess no reason he couldn't but i have no expectations any of the staff will be back let alone Fisher Jr.

If that happens, or in general, if the Rams offense lights it up the last three weeks (quit laughing) then the Rams should re-hire Fisher just so they can fire him again. But like you, I seriously doubt it ... when a guy calls runs out of the shotgun and then tries play-action out of the shotgun ... well you just kind of know he's out of his depth.

I don't think the team is going to look any different the next three games than it did the last three. Boras isn't a good OC and the talent level on offense is lacking. Williams is a solid DC and the defensive talent level is average.

i'm not sure the talent is lacking. I just don't see anyone on the o f side of the ball get better. imo most get worse after their rookie year. they just don't seem to get coached up. look at the ol last year with rookies and injures every where gurly had a good year and pass blocking was fairly good. this year the ol has stayed fairly healthy and with a years experience have gotten worse. FRO you could be right about talent but I want to see what a new coaching staff does before I decide.

I agree with Jack. I think Fish is a control freak. Same results with Boras, Schotty, etc. Even Fish admits he'll whisper suggestions.

It sounds like Bones has no expectations. I hope he leaves Boras and Williams alone, and lets them do their jobs. That's why you hire an OC and DC right? Secondly, both are likely using these next three games for their next jobs. Hand them the wheel and let them decide their own fate. As coach, Bones only needs to point them in the right direction. I.E. no pressure and linemen dropping into coverage, call delayed draws. We'll see a lot of that the next three weeks based on Goff's performance.

Maybe Spruce gets a chance to start soon??? Has he seriously been battling injuries all season? I would love to see him get a chance...

I just don't see this happening on a short week w/ a New Interim HC!

Boras will be coaching for his coordinator LIFE. If he ever wants to be a OC again, he has 3 games....I hope he's up to it.

The NFL is a constant challenge because you must change as defenses adapt to what you do well. DC's decided that Gurley is the only guy that can beat them, and every game, he's the #1 option taken away. We don't adapt well...Usually that's because of intelligence in other species in the wild...I'd assume it's the same in the NFL...Adapt to survive...

Fair and that's probably all you can do this offseason.

I think Fisher "discussed" the offensive game plan with his OC and that his footprints were all over it.
I too am curious to see what changes are made to the strategy with Fish out of the picture and Boras on his own
